Mithrokk stares at Farnakees in the darkness and with a grimace says, "Ye were nourished on this foul meat?" Shaking his head, "Perhaps ye shall be feasting soon then. But keep yer wits about lest the vermin feast on us."
Mithrokk grips his greataxe and then moves 20 feet forward to inspect the first door on the right.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Farnakees relights the nearest torch with his tinderbox, picks up the lit torch, and will warily continue to relight any unlit ensconced torch, checking each time that no danger is imminent. Perception: 16
OOC - Farnakees can't light torches until he enters the corridor; you guys are still at the stairwell. From what you guys said above, it looks like the order is Lathelas, Farnakees, and Mithrokk up front, with the wizards bringing up the rear. Unless Dilion makes an appearance, we'll assume she's sleeping it off upstairs.
OOC - Mithrokk, you don't have to kick the door down. You've got a key.
OOC - Lathelas, as the first one in, make a Perception check. No one else rolls Perception checks unless I ask them to.
OOC - State exactly what Lathelas is checking out. That first Perception check was just for entering the corridor for the first time. Depending on what you're looking at, I'll tell you if you need to make anymore checks.
Rastaris telepathically commands Xelote to keep his eye on the corridor and alert him if anything moves (other than the other characters). Xelote has 120 feet Darkvision.
In hushed words the others hear this following incantation: "My mind to your mind, my thoughts to your thoughts."

Lathalas cracks his knuckles, draws his shortsword into his favored reverse grip, and quietly follows.

Alianna follows, staying close to the left wall.
Rastaris will be in front of Alianna, behind Lathalas.
OOC: Remember we have a light source - Farnakees scimitar.
Farnakees takes is scimitar out of its scabbard and waves it around in the air.
OOC: So everyone ready? Time to kick the door down?
OOC - All righty, here's a video to help you visualize what you can see.

OOC -Using the video, you can tell me which items you're interacting with, if any.
Lathalas searches the room for signs that this is the handywork of more than just rats.

Lathalas has something in his eye. With any luck, it's not going to be a rat's diseased tooth.
OOC: Lathelas doesn't notice anything. Tell me what your characters are doing.
"My elf eyes are crusty. Alianna, Mithrokk, do you see anything?"
OOC - State exactly what Lathelas is checking out. That first Perception check was just for entering the corridor for the first time. Depending on what you're looking at, I'll tell you if you need to make anymore checks.
Lathalas enters the cellar and examines the doors, barrels, and other broken items in the room.
Are there any signs that there were more than rats here? Any signs of where the pyromancer might have passed?
OOC - "Kick the door down" was a Muchkin reference :-)
Mithrokk will move forward 20 feet towards the right door. He will inspect both the door and the three crates by the doorway.
"I see disarray, friend Lathalas. Nothing more, for now."
Rastaris telepathically commands Xelote to keep his eye on the corridor and alert him if anything moves (other than the other characters). Xelote has 120 feet Darkvision.

Rastaris is wielding his Light Crossbow.
DM: Given the light source we currently have, does Rastaris notice if there are any scorch marks on the wall, chairs, or barrels?
Perception Check: 3
"Broke, blind, and bedlam. It seems to be our stock in trade."
