Enwynn smiles at the sight of fleeing goblins, and looks for any others who have not yet followed them, and sees one of their larger kin still fighting. She points with her free hand at the combatant goblin, and flicks a hissing tongue of flame down at them.
Aramis cleans his blade, eyes locked on the flight of the enemy. He sheaths his weapon and looks down at the shredded corpse before him. Then his eyes snap to the newcomer.
"Fortuitous timing, friend," he says in perfect elven. "There's a lot of that going around today."
"It seems Sindla has smiled upon all of us today." she replies, in a similar fashion. She looks from Aramis to Banzo and back again as she offers "I am Enwynn Of The Forest, a seeker of knowledge and more usefully in these circumstances, a healer. If I may aid you or your companions in either capacity in thanks for your timely aid, it would greatly please me to do so."
"Excuse me a moment though..." Enwynn hastily adds, then looks to the sky and utters a loud cawing noise. A tiny black shape of a bird drops closer down as she points towards the fleeing goblins and asks the crow "Please take a quick look and see if they flee to more of them in wait or simply run for their lives."
"Hostile targets, have you considered a lifetime of worship to the Ascended One? This unit has pamphlets..." Shalana produces some more pamphlets, confused for the moment.

The two muscular goblins hacked at Herman, apparently unaware their brethren had deserted.
Zeltheris orders the Hill Goblin before him to its knees, he simply replies, " No." But then steps back and throws his spear to the ground, " I do however submit."
Banzo, Enwyn and Aramis chat while overlooking the field, Enwyn throws some fire downfield but it fails to hit its target. Banzos silvery missiles strike the sword wielder in the side.
Garets continues to harry his foe. The Hill Goblin paused with its blade casting its eyes about then sighed, " I too submit."
Shalana watched as the goblins fled the field..
Hermans attacks hewed one of the stocky foes in half and his follow up carved into the others shoulder, the injured Hill Goblin threw down its hooked blade and surrendered.
Herman sees the only standing foe but even if he surrendered, the barbarian at the moment is just too angry: he limits himself to knock him down (non lethal damages)

Reckless Attack: 22 Damage: 15
Bonus Reckless Attack: 24 Damage: 9
He is knocked soundly on his arse and is out cold.
"Let's tie up those who surrendered and question what they're about!"
Banzo will assist whoever has rope to help tie good, strong knots (advantage?) and secure any prisoners we are taking.

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
"Good plan." Brocc agrees, helping to tie up those who laid down their weapons. He would then start searching through the pockets of any of the dead, letting others do the questioning of their now-prisoners.
Zeltheris moves over to the prisoner, "I have a few questions for you before the others start. First, how would you describe yourself, more as a bandit or a raider? And second, would you describe facing these heroes more as terrifying or awe inspiring? Your responses may be included in the final ballad."

Brocc finds a total of 38 copper pieces and 8 silver, a few dozen well made but crude short blades and a similar number of sets of leather armour that smells very, very sweaty and possibly a little mouldy.
There are also a sampling of various jerkies, animal bones, shiny rocks, some weathered scraps of parchment with the word Scimitar on them and handfuls of red and green dried mushrooms.
Quote from Ismenow>>Zeltheris moves over to the prisoner, "I have a few questions for you before the others start. First, how would you describe yourself, more as a bandit or a raider? And second, would you describe facing these heroes more as terrifying or awe inspiring? Your responses may be included in the final ballad."
The spear wielding Hill Goblin jerked their head toward the swordwielder, who spoke, " Hmmm, probably a bandit...raider would attack settlements I think...and that ain't our style."
" For my men? Terrifying.......For myself? Annoying.....scout told us it was a bunch of fancy merchants with a mechanical cart laden with loot........he's dead now so I can't kill him for being an idiot..."
" Ballad? Oh! Well then, Blade Captain Jar Orc-Cleaver previously of The Black Tower and this is Kuy, Eye of Hashak and priest of our Section. The one snoozing over there is Seargent Lup."
Gatet watches cautiously as the large Hill Goblin surrenders and submits to being bound by Banzo and Brocc.
With the goblins subdued Garet sheaths his weapons and comes to join the rest of the party.
Intrigued by the assistance from the mysterious elf, Garet nodded in their directions "Hello there."
Garet is also amused by Zeltheris questions wondering what part he would be attributed in the upcoming saga.
Turning to the rest of the group he spoke. "We should get off the road. The goblins are easily startled but they will return and with greater numbers."
Mumbling to himself "I don't remember the goblins attacking something as large as our party before."
"Well we were not carrying such a large amount of loot previously." Brocc says at the mention of goblins not attacking a large group like this before. "Seems they took us for a merchant or something that could be dealt with, not a group of heros like us." He says the last with a bit of a joking tone in his voice. He shrugs. "I doubt if the goblins will return, they hit us hard, it is not likely they will want to try that again, as their best was little more than an anoyance to us." He holds up one of the scraps of paper with the word scimitar on it. "What do you make of this? Some sort of password or something..."

The mysterious elf mutters in Common "Perhaps I should have said that last part in something more widely spoken than Elven?" then falls quiet, aware she is but one voice among many here. She keeps her weapon hand well away from the hilt of her blade, and watches and listens intently, attempting to understand the situation a little better before she speaks again.
If spare rope is required, she offers it gladly, but having no particular skill with knots, she does not otherwise aid in tying up the surviving bandits, watching only to see if those who surrendered are in no danger of death from their wounds if untended.
It is only by sheer willpower that she keeps another startled laugh from escaping her lips at the questioning of goblins for the benefit of lyrical posterity, but she smiles briefly before turning her attention to the dried red and green mushrooms among the finds laid out on the ground. She reaches into a side pocket of her backpack, pulls out a green cloth-covered tome, then compares her own crude sketches to the dried fungi in front of her.
(Makes 2 Survival Rolls in attempt to ID fungi, 12 and 20)
The elf looks up from her inquiry briefly to politely respond in common speech to the warrior's greeting with "A pleasure to meet you, sir."
(Were there any goblins left fleeing that Corwyn could watch from above, or are they all dead/captured now?)

(Thank you, and Oops, I thought it was a case of two different kinds of mushrooms, not one red and green kind, that's why the two Survival rolls. If you need Enwynn's next roll for Survival anytime soon, I'll take that second result for then now that I've gone and rolled it.)
"Pretty in colour, but not good to eat..." the elf says quietly in Common, looking from book to fungi again, then in a louder voice "...Because you'll see pretty things that aren't there, then throw up for an hour, among other unpleasant effects."
She looks thoughtful at the discussion of the scraps of text, then racks her memory for any mention of a place known as 'The Black Tower'.
