The companions move through the door and walk along a narrow tunnel. It tums briefly to the right and then to the left, where there is a small dusty alcove which seems to be empty, perhaps a guard stood here once.
Walking on, they arrive at another wooden door with a carved bone handle, Banzos familiar is waiting patiently outside it.
"We should check if it's trapped before checking to see if it's locked."
Banzo picks up Zeno and pets him while carrying him.
"Although what are the chances for either at the end of a secret passage?"

Leigh gulps slightly at being called on so quickly but also feels assured by Tzedaka’s words. Approaching the door carefully he examines the handle, where the hinges should be as well as ground and ceiling, looking for any anomalies.

Enwynn, after some thought, looks at the red key, and the ball of string and Shalana's still form while an idle thought sparks some hope, but not inside a mountain out of sight from the sky. She files it away for later consideration and deals with the situation here and now.
Herman: "great! what a force of nature! I knew you have it within you!"
The elf answers with a smile "I thank Erilla for answering in time of dire need, but I thank you and your tribe for putting the thought of wolves in my mind to ask her for."
Banzo: "You know something... that might be a safe place to secure Shalana away until we return for her."
Enwynn nods in agreement.
Herman agrees and lifts Shalana up to the bench, with all possible care that he has (few)

so, how did you end up here?
In a hushed voice Leigh replies "I left my village to explore the world, see what wonders the animal kingdom has to offer. To observe and protect. I thought I would be stopping poachers, not caged myself. Learnt the hard way that travelling alone is madness and there are evils abound that I had never conceived."

Thinking about what Enwynn just said, "Eenwynn, may I see de box and string?" She seems to pray for a moment in celestial (Guidance): She will examine the box for hidden compartments, look at the bottom closely, and inside of the box and for any clues to a labyrinth. She will compare it to her scroll for any similarities in make, materials, etc. (Perception with guidance:18 plue 4)
She looks at Banzo. "I wonder if you tie dis string to de sword, if it vil fly?" she says, curiously.
"I never even considered something like that Tzedaka, but it's easy enough to test out."
Banzo will put Zeno down and taking the string, wet the end in his mouth and tie it around the sword and secure it with a knot.
"Someone heft the sword aloft over their head and let go, stand back right after just in case."
(After the little experiment to see what happens, when Ian asks if we're ready.)
Banzo will crouch at the left side of the door ready to rush in and join the others if needed.
"Ready!"

After Leigh finishes, and while looking over the box, without looking at Leigh, "Der are also powers of good and virtue in dis vorld and above it, trying to balance tings of evil dat you might not know, even if it is right in front of you." After examining the box of string she hands Leigh a loose rock from the ground. As she places it in his hand, she utters a single word in Celestial, and the rock glows with bright light (a slightly yellowish hue, the color of the sun at mid-day): Light: You touch one object that is no larger than 10 feet in any dimension. Until the spell ends, the object sheds bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet. The light can be colored as you like. Completely covering the object with something opaque blocks the light. The spell ends if you cast it again or dismiss it as an action, lasts 1 hour).
"Der is always light fighting darkness," she says, smiling at him with eyes of strength and unbreakable confidence.
Though he knows there is no heat from it, Leigh feels a warmth in his hand. He swallows hard and holds back a tear, it feels like a lifetime since he saw the sun. Gripping the stone he pockets it carefully, treating it like delicate treasure. Leigh is confidant that there is nothing in place to harm them and gently opens the door.
