"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
(ooc: we all got a short rest first though right? even her before she left?)
( The rest of you got a short rest. Tzedaka left part way through....as she didn't announce she was going it likely took a while to notice she was gone...)
Enwynn says in the same curiously emotionless tone as before "If you are loyal to whomever holds Firetop, Master Red Robes, then you serve us. If you have any doubts of that, then consider this: I have been dead several times over, yet somehow I am still here." then sighs as she adds "Goddess knows why, for that's a mystery to me, but I'm still here. Look after these people. Care for their needs until we return."
The druidess speaks louder, to the former ornaments this time "If any of you wish to leave this place, there would be greater safety in traveling in a group, and an escort can be provided in exchange for your patience."
She looks calm but her brief meditations have brought her little peace of mind. Her only response to Tzedaka's disappearance is a soft-spoken one to Herman "That is, alas for us, just her way. Your way is sometimes rudeness, and sometimes the manners of a prince. Such are the ways of wolves and men."
The elf gathers up her gear and prepares to follow her own advice in seeking out Tzedaka swiftly.
She will quickly search the room, then continue to the area Enwynn mentioned (perception: 23) starting to wonder why she is doing this She also notes that some of her hair is falling out
Finding only some strange fleshy flasks of purple liquid she continues onwards, passing through the library...and by Leighs corpse...through the trapped corridor where they had met Libb.
Past Shades sundered door she goes....past the chess game...past the vermin pit....
There are voices coming up the corridor towards her.....
(Tzedaka tries to confirm this is for good purpose, then hides again, hoping to gain any information from their conversation, using guidance to assist) ooc I thought it was closer to the destination)

" Them mob said the Old Man is carked it, guess we should go introduce ourselves? Wonder if it was that lot that was at the door? They didn't seem like much to look at...."
" Could be, Could be......you've a decent head for thinking, Clem."
" Ohhhhh.....I wonder if one of the cushy jobs is open? I've always fancied becoming a sommelier...."
Two large Trolls dressed in leather vests and kilts came into view, moving back the way Tzedaka had come from.....they didn't notice her....
Tannin starts mentally shouting "Tzedaka!, Where are you?" as he searches with the others
The group comes to the edge of the amphitheatre, there is no answer to Tannins mental shouts.......as they enter the preparation chamber where they fought the priests Ennwyn spots a fingernail and a clump of scalp and familiar long hair lying on the marble floor.
Tzedaka goes as quickly as she can to the site Enwynn mentioned, as more skin and hair fall off.
Tzedaka continues on past the room that contained the Plaguebearer....the Chaos Warrior barracks....past the door they hadn't opened that had smelt of old blood the door was still closed.....as she moved back past the room that had been full of feasting merry-makers she saw the door was now open and the room was empty.....
She finishes her journey to the site Enwynn mentioned looking for the item. She also considers if the heroes could get out this way, crossing the river?
she has been gone a while. Maybe she should return and see how the rest is going for the group?
Banzo will use the crystal ball to try and view just where along the back trail Tzedaka is and how long it will take them to reunite with her.
DC 17 WIS save (there was an option for the target to willinglyfail the save if they knew you would be trying to view them, but I didn't learn this until after the short rest so couldn't of let you know.)
"I will seek her out although it is possible her god will hide her from my eyes it is worth a shot."
Banzo peers into the crystal seeing the swirl of powerful magic that reveals itself into visions of other places.
(If the Scry succeeds I can concentrate on the spell and see and hear Tzedaka for the next ten minutes.)

She continues through the yellow door where she found Sindlas Breastplate and then re-enters the Inquisitors library.....
From there the forking tunnel with the Pits road untaken.....and then onto the shore of the subterranean river.....the corpse of the massive mudgrinder is covered in scavenging crustaceans and other creatures, the lizardman huts lie empty..........there is no way back across that she can see....
Realizing that even if there is an item of import, having to go across the water is not practical right now, and there might be another creature in the water. She finishes removing her external layer, purifies herself with radiant light (word of radiance), and decides it may be best to go back and find the others. She wraps herself in her gray robe, and dashes back, her evolution complete. (If Banzo and the crystal ball works, he would see her partially evolved.....and then if he continues to watch, more so. She would appear both purposeful, yet erratic in her movements. As she decides to return, is there anything of value that she passed that could aid the heroes?
"...The group comes to the edge of the amphitheatre, there is no answer to Tannins mental shouts.......as they enter the preparation chamber where they fought the priests Ennwyn spots a fingernail and a clump of scalp and familiar long hair lying on the marble floor."
Enwynn spends some time silently examining the fingernail and the hair, trying to hide her concern in careful study. She offers "I could try to track her by scent in a different form, but this place is a maze of odd aromas." then wearily rubs her eyes as she concludes "I do not know if that would work. This is not like tracking through a forest and stone is less likely to hold a scent than earth."
Her response to Banzo's suggestion is a wildly hopeful look quickly damped down, then a more cautious offering of "If you can find her more swiftly than a wolf's nose can, please do so. I do not like the idea of her alone in this place. Zagor's physical malice may be defeated, but his resident allies who remain here still may not care if they are masterless or not when it comes to defending their lairs."
OOC: I can't edit my last post so I'm adding this bit here...
Enwynn pats Banzo's shell in reassurance and adds "Her Goddess may hide her from unfriendly eyes, but perhaps that shiny crystal ball won't be an unfriendly gaze if you're the one using it?"and whispers a prayer to another goddesses ear as she does do.
OOC: Enwynn casts Guidance on Banzo.

You are right, Tannin, all in all there is still a little army of skeletons roaming the place (let's just hope they crumbled when Zagor was defeated).
I wonder why she left so suddenly and without giving reasons...and they call ME rude! bah, let's go, the sooner the better
