Rolen surveys the landscape and turns to Erdot and Folwyn. "So what details did our employer give about the job and more importantly how much is she paying us?"
Erdot turns to Rolen "There used to be a group of druids called the Fengari clan here. For some reason, contact between the town and the Fengari had ended, and while they still left offerings to them, the loggers started disappearing. They sent out a search party, who also went missing. We are to find and stop whatever is causing this." Erdot points to his bag. "I was given a bag contains the offering to the Fengari which I'll be preforming." Erdot shrugs. "She didn't say anything about a reward."
"But first..." Erdot turns towards Karst, then the river. "I am interested to know why the river is tinged green."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Eh, no. I was just along for the ride, really" Folwyn says with a smile. He then looks to see where wherever the person running the camp may be (Perception 9).
"Well this is certainly unsettling." Rolen goes down to the river by Erdot, "So are these druids we are supposed to find of the peaceful variety or are they more of a militant sect?"
"Peaceful. It doesn't seem like they would attack the loggers. But this water worries me. It's sick and getting sicker. Probably shouldn't ingest or touch it."
((Mine is only 11. DM, you can see it in on our char sheets on the campagin page. ;) But I realized we players cannot look at other players pages, like I thought we could.))
Karst immediately hones in on the shape, emitting a threatening hiss. He then moves as if to give chase, stopping when the shadowy figure recedes from view.
"Perhaps we should wait and investigate the camp before we go running off into an unfamiliar forest where people have gone missing alongside a currently sick stream?"

Lumgarsk takes a big deep breath, pleased to be back in nature, Ah, great to be back again!

"The hero sought to save the world.
"If I keep trying, I'll be able to win," the hero thought.
But the harder the hero fought, the further the world seemed to tumble away.
Drowning in doubt, the hero could not even save themselves.

The camp is completely devoid of people.
You look at the river and notice right away that the river is slowly being poisoned, you barely had to look at it.

At the corner of your eyes, all of you see a dark shape or figure at the edge of the forest quickly move out of your sight.

"Karst! That may not be an enemy. It may just be a survivor." Folwyn says, running after him.
