Shere is either still hiding, or revealed now. I'd assume hiding, but coming out of the shadows when Ithelion is not immediately attacked...happy with what anyone wants to do!
Ithelion breathes a sigh of relief and glances awkwardly in the direction of Shere, then starts to speak, "We sent a message earlier. Via Sharpie -- I hope she is well. We have no quarrel with you or your people -- only with the likes of him..." she nods in the hobgoblin's direction, "We seek knowledge of the humans that came through here. We would like to find them."
Grenl looks at you with her one good eye and spits out something brown and juicy and grunts. "Humans go to the Dark One below. 'Cept the one that this fool killed! Stupid stupid stupid! Sharpie, mmhmm,"she pauses before continuing, "she got hurt, she rest now. She tell me you friends with kobold people. So you with them? Where they? Durbuluk don't want fighting no more." She says some words in goblin, and you can understand she is translating, somewhat liberally as it were, and many of the goblins snicker. They start growling and getting louder when Grenl mentions the kobolds. You feel very vulnerable by yourself out here but nothing hostile has taken place so far.....
(( Ithelion spends so much time on personal hygiene I'm sure Grenl must smell the kobold scent on Shere ))
Finding herself not under immediate attack, Ithelion glances to Shere and her eyes look back down the corridor, then she tilts her head toward the goblins. Turning back to Grenl she smiles and nods, "My friends, who will be here shortly..." she emphasizes the last words, "...and I have no quarrel with Grenl of the Durbuluk, or her people." She looks around at the assembled goblins, trying to assess how many are actually likely to be warriors.
"Sharpie no doubt also told you we did not kill her -- or her companion -- and that we, too, want peace for both Kobolds and Goblins." Now she grimaces, "But sadly, that is not what Queen Ysdrayl seems to want; even now, she is arming her people, but to exactly what purpose I am uncertain."
"So to answer your question: we are not with the kobolds. In fact their queen has made it quite clear that she no longer wants to talk to us -- our entreaties for a truce with your people were not well received."
He was about to message her then Shere remains in stunned silence ready to back the elf up He moves into the room with her listening
The goblin crowd murmurs as you come in the room, clearly they haven't seen many of your kind.
Grenl nods. "Where are others with you? My warrior says more of you...."
Before anyone can respond, the large hobgoblin in front of yells and tries to stand. Grenl moves her staff and touches it to the hobgoblin's body, speaking a sharp syllable. The hobgoblin immediate stiffens and gasps for breath. You see his face crack and blood gushes forth. You hear popping sounds as flesh and bone rip under a terrible stress. He shudders and falls to the floor, not breathing. A small cheer is raised from the crowd of goblins.
Grenl nods. "Mmmhmm, Durnn had it coming for long time. Now Durbuluk free from dumb hob." She sighs. "Maybe now we free, finally leave." For the first time, you notice that most of the goblins have small packs and sacks with them. "So where rest of you, huh?"
Garnet can barely hear anything from the other room but she can tell neither Shere or Itheliin are in distress. Unsure of how long that will remain Garnet will slowly follow after Shere into the room with Ithelion.
Her initial shock is quickly replaced by an impassive mask as Ithelion watches the grisly death of Durnn. One less problem, and now a new one. Her gaze lingers on the body a moment before looking back down the corridor. The sight of Garnet approaching puts her a little more at ease and she then turns to Shere, "Perhaps you could call them all?"
Focusing again on Grenl, she says "We were anxious not to be mistaken for a war party, so only I and my companion came to speak, but I believe that they should all be here momentarily."
"So...you plan to leave this cursed place: Do you have a pathwway that does not involve journeying through Kobold territory?"
Ithelion stares at the big cat for a moment before turning back to Grenl, "And if you don't -- and it is your intention to depart peacefully -- then I am sure my companion here can persuade Queen Ysdrayl to allow passage."
Seeing the elfs stare Shere shrugs turns and points in the direction of Krom "You guys can come in here If you want amigos. We'rre in no dangerr." Seeing Garnethe nods with a reassuring smile.
Grenl and the goblins eye the genasi as she steps through the doorway, looking up at her tall figure. Grenl turns her attention to Ithelion. "Mmhmm, don't worry pretty, we know ways of leaving here without going past them." At the mention of Yusdrayal allowing the goblins free passage, Grenl hoots - causing the goblins to jaw and scoff as well - until a bout of coughing forces her to stop. "Mmhmm, dear me, are you sure you talked to Yusdrayal? Hee hee. Oi, mmhmm, she would never let us leave. Which is why Durbuluk must leave. We go below, back through caves to find new home."
Ithelion nods at the words, "A wise choice -- Yusdrayal can indeed be frustrating and intransigent."And most likely brutal. She nods, remembering the torturer, "If that is your decision, then leaving soon would be prudent, an I wish both you and your people a safe journey, Grenl of the Durbuluk" she says with a slight bow.
As she looks over the assembled goblins, she wonders if they would have been so accommodating were the roles reversed, and the goblins had held the upper hand. Probably not. As she ponders the random chances that can result when fates and destinies collide, she remembers Sharpie. "You mentioned Sharpie was wounded. Some of us are skilled in the healing arts..." she glances at Garnet, Shere, and then further down the corridor to the approaching Krom. "...would you like us see if we can help her?"
Krom lets Garnet get a bit ahead of him before following behind her. He jumps, a bit startled hearing a voice inside of his head, "Great, now I'm hearin' voices in me head. This blasted quest is curse, I tell ye. I knew it was bad luck tryin' to work with the overgrown lizards and tunnel rats." He says more to himself than anyone that might be nearby.

Ithelion glances at Shere with a smile, "Judging by the grummbling and teeth gnashing, I'd say the dwarf is on his way at least." She takes a moment to very briefly look through Elosa's senses to see what the others are doing.

Maybe...it could be around even numbers at this point.

Shere speaks in goblin to add to Ithelion's point "Your people will have to sneak out of herrre unless you know a secrret way."
