Daemyar, in the well you find the following in the slop:
- 8 lapis lazuli figurines in a pouch - a pouch with 13 copper pieces - an explorer's pack - a flail - an exquisitely crafted - but broken - handle of a sword - a potion 2. .
Once Daemyar reaches the top, Garnet helps to pull Daemyar over the edge, helping him up and over. She sees the items that he has in his hands. "Does anyone need the flail? I could hold onto it and use it if no one else needs it. Did you see anything else down there?"

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Ithelion smiles at the hogboglin, "Well done." she says. That one has changed! Lives like bright flames, they change so quickly. No such luxury for me. "Earlier, you said that you were glad to be with us. I, too, am glad you are with us, and I hope that our journeys together continue." She bows her head slightly and then takes the items one by one, stowing them deep in her pack. She hands the flail to Garnet when asked, "Of course, to each according to their need."
When Daemyar hands her the hilt she listens to his suggestion, and nods "Good idea." She examines it closely before showing it to Erky. "Familiar to you?" she asks. She also looks through the adventurers pack, and hands it to the gnome. "You might need this. If the rations are stale, I have a little spare."
She notes that Shere is in the middle of a short rest, and again sets Elosa to watching over her back, and the gnome in particular, while she casts Detect Magic as a ritual. She examines the various new items items, and then finally the area around them, checking for magic nearby, including on the gnome.
When she is done, she looks around the group. "So...now that we have examined the well, what does everyone want to do? I asked before, and now we must decide. Follow the goblins, or go back to secure our path out? The kobolds are now an unknown, and we may not have a friendly welcome if we are forced to retreat this way."
(( While the spell is running, she uses it as described above, as well as Dernn's splnt mail and the earrings -- I don't *think* this was done before by Shere ))
Erky takes it and examines it carefully. "What did the thing you found this on look like? Tell me, were there green figurines with the body? An amulet? Of two dragons - facing each other, like this?" Erky puts up two fiists and knocking them together. He hustles over to the pile of stuff in the southern toom to get some things to write on. "Yes. yes. most interesting." Erky is beaming. "This was one of the keepers we had tracking. Too bad they ended up down there though. This," he says, holding up the sward fragments, "is what I have been looking for! This is definitely one of the broken pieces of Durgeddin's hoard. You can tell by the fine craftsmanship and detail work, but most obviously, says Erky, it is Durgeddin's crest on the pommel bottom that gives it away.
Ithelion tries to maintain a firm grip on hilt, caught between amusement and anger. She peers at it as the gnome gets increasingly excited. Eventually she looks up at him and nods. "Patience is a virtue that you need to cultivate. We can return it to Rorik together. But first, tell me of these keepers, which you have entirely failed to mention until now?" There is the slightest tinge of anger in her tone, and she raises an eyebrow at Daemyar, and briefly looks to the door.
(( Assuming he's never mentioned them... Search failed to find any mention... If he has, then she's only mildly annoyed at his manner))
She turns to Krom, showing him the hilt, "Was this something you were looking for? Should we go back to Oakhurst now?"
Erky looks a bit sheepish. "Aye, I haven't mentioned them because, truth be told, we - I - lost track of any of them months ago. You see, Rorik and I call those whom we suspect of having these relics "keepers." I did not expect to find any of them down here. Taken as a big picture, not many people even believe that Durgeddin's hoard and weapons are anything more than legend. We've only found 2 such relics before...And anyway, it isn't as if you are going to go a searching for them, right?"
Erky gets as red in the face as is possible for a dun-coloured creature. "I don't remember pledging any of my secrets to you, elf. No offense meant of course, but I am not sure it's fair to be angry at information not given when you don't ask for it. Even if you did, I may not tell you anything. Such is the way of free people - but maybe you've forgotten this?"
"I thank you all, especially you," Erky nods to Daemyar, "for freeing me. I think I will stay back a while longer. I think there is more to be gained here. I also don't like being harrassed. Elves can be so haughty." Erky sighs and takes the pack handed to him by Ithelion. He pulls out some paper notes hidden in his boot and his quill and begins writing. ...
Shere says to Erky in a calm voice. "Tell me more about this Rorik. He sounds interesting, a great scholar? Or smith?" he says with a purring trying to calm things down abit.
Erky glances at Shere, talking low, out of earshot of Ithelion. "Ah well, Rorik is the smith in Oakhurst and a mighty fine one at that. He is a bit of a collector and when I first blundered into the town, he took me in. We talked for hours about history - it was so nice to talk to someone with an interest in the subject! Rorik also had an interest in his own clan's history and what he told me about his ancestors seemed to fit with codexes I had read about a legendary dwarf smith who led his people to a safe haven. This dwarf, this Durgeddin, was apparently the best dwarf smith and created second-to-none magical weapons...and well, I think I told you the rest. Suffice it to say Rurik has paid me well to traipse around these parts looking for clues. And it keeps me out of the town. I knew there was something in these caves! It's quite exciting and he'll be pleased to find more evidence." He scowls at Ithelion and whispers, "I guess he'll have to barter for it with your gatekeeper leader over there!"Erky laughs at this last part, a secret kind of laugh between Shere and Erky. "Ah, it's okay. I know her type. Old as the hills, seen it all, and wants everyone to know it, especially the short-lived races." He shakes his head with a giggle and continues writing.
"That is interresting" Shere says making a note about it and he turns to Krom "You know, mystical powers come from formulas and the heart. Tell us about your faith Krom did your god create your race? And how so?"
Krom strokes his beard, "Eh, legends have it that Moradin was incarnated from rock, stone, and metal, and that his soul from an ember of fire. It was said he forged the first dwarves from metals and gems and breathed souls into them when he blew on his creations to cool them."

"Tabaxi, our creator was the cat lord but most don't hold allegiance to him just a nod of thanks"
Shere looks around "Is anyone besides me keeping watch? We should be moving soon. I no wish to deal with more kobolds. I don't think heading to Oakhurrst is a good Idea. Our quest awaits."
At Krom's approach, several of the goblins emit a "Eeek!" or an "Ah!" at the sight of the traditionally hated stout humanoid. *edit - If Daemyar comes in, the resulting clamor and sounds are ones of fury and shrieks of hate. Grenl is also alarmed but with a knowing nod, shushes them quickly enough. "Sharpie is resting over there inside, mmhmm. My granddaughter has told us about you all and I am in your debt." She stands and kicks the leaking body of the hobgoblin. "We only wish to find freedom and not a new master; we do as we please, when we please. I tired of big 'uns ordering us around - Durnn, his captains, the One Below - we'll not start to take orders from you. We take back some of Durnn's things - thief he was, mmhmm. But you take the rest as reward." She looks wisely at you, eyes twinkling, "And if you're smart, you'll burn the entire grove down there to ashes..."
Behind Grenl a ways, not noticed earlier because of the crowd of goblins, lies a large, rounded and broken tower shell. This is where Grenl indicated Sharpie was resting. You estimate it's about 40 feet in diameter though it's hard to know for sure without going inside. The door to this area is open and dim violet light shines out of the structure. Near the entrance, you notice twisted thorny vines, sickly and gray, on the circular walls, covering all the surface they can. To the right of the entrance, against the curve of the wall, sits a crudely fashioned stone throne. A large iron chest serves as the throne's footstool. A twisted sapling grows in a wide stone pot next to the throne.
If you have no further questions of Grenl, she gives the order to her people and they will start shuffling towards the circular structure described above. Several of the armed goblins take a bit of extra time staring at the comical sight of Daemyar with an owl on his shoulder, but eventually they leave as well to follow their leader.
Along the southern wall is a heaping pile of assorted items, including wagon wheels, broken armor and rusted arms, chests, small statues, antique furniture, and artwork.
While you don't hear any more sounds of shuffling feet, you do hear some commotion coming from inside the circular structure, and some hushed voices...
Shere, since you're not doing any of the heavy lifting right now, you could rest.
