You stand in the workshop of the former mad scientist engineer enemy of Hupperdook. There are stairs down to the west and south that you have not explored, and stairs down to the bedroom to the east which you have not yet searched thorough. Wash, you are in some clockwork armour.
Alton goes around and gives everyone a celebratory high-five. Saying to Wash, "Nice plan to keep him out of that armor. I think we would have had a much tougher fight if he was using that."

Wash makes his way out of the machine and says to Ballassar "But I think this clockwork armour would look really good on Alton and we might have broken it if Huron was in it."
Wash asks "Should we keep searching other rooms and then come back? Maybe leaving someone here blocking of the armour and trying to get it going?" he winks at Alton.
Alton looks at Wash, "I appreciate the thought, but I'm just a bit too small to fit inside this thing. Perhaps it would be better suited for you or Balassar." Alton will then go check out the Huronsicle that Balassar created and check to see if there is anything that might seem interesting on his person.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Alton will take the goggles off of the Huronsicle and just tuck them away in his backpack for now. "Oh these look neat. I'll look at them later." He looks around the room to see if there are any chests or other interesting looking things to put into his backpack.
If Wash does try to see about getting the clockwork armor working, Alton will go over and help him by pulling out the blueprints and looking for any notes on how it works.

Looking around the workshop, Alton doesn't see anything of great value - even the tools seem to be heavily customised by Stahlmast and probably wouldn't be of interest to any buyers. The forge is hot and dangerous if you get too close. You do find an interesting lever on the east wall.
Balassar looks over the armor and just snears "Naw, I'll stick to using my trusty sword and shield. To many gadgets and gizmos for my taste." He just begins to look around for anything that looks valuable.
Wash, your investigation reveals quite a lot. First, the clockwork armour functions as a powerful vehicle. Huron named it the 'Stahlmaster'.
The bad news is, Wash can't operate the Stahlmaster, though it's possible he could learn in a few days. Worse is, he definitely couldn't repair all the intricate clockwork if it was damaged in battle, and he doesn't think he could learn that without a teacher and a considerable period of time.
Rather better news is that there's a lot of very valuable metals used in the construction of this thing - with about an hour, or less with help, you could salvage about 350 gold's worth of metal. On the other hand, the Watchmaster might pay even more for the whole thing intact, and he probably does have engineers and resources to understand and eventually operate it.
[OOC: I'm thinking that becoming Ironman doesn't really fit with Wash's character, so he won't be spending time learning how to use it.]
Wash says to the others "There is some very valuable metal in this, we could probably take it apart and sell it. Otherwise, someone with a better head for mechanical things back at town might be able to use this and we could sell it for more. The question is, do we actually want these things being mass-produced in Hupperdook? Either way, I think we should check whether Huron had any other allies here that we haven't found yet before we attempt to strip this or take it back in one piece, though if we are stripping it I might try to break it before we go looking. We don't want someone else rushing in and using it against us."
"I don't see why we shouldn't bring this thing back to Hupperdook in one piece. I'm sure something like this would help with large construction projects and other tasks that require heavy lifting." Alton says as he tries to think of all the good something like this machine could be used for. "They could call it the Altonator, or the Washformer, or the Balastruct. Oh, or maybe even the Baltonburne."

(OOC: The thing is, you kept him out of his clockwork armour. And outside his clockwork armour, he's kinda puny.)
Balassar, would you like to describe how you kill Huron Stahlmast with your breath?
Balassar just smiles as he begins to slowly freeze the man from the feet up slowly letting him feel the pain as he is frozen. He just looks around at his companions “Weakling, like all Xhorasian scum.”

Alton, you don't think you can fit inside it - it's clearly designed for a human or other medium-sized creature.

Alton, you find mostly bits of scrap metal and various useless tools in his pockets. He is wearing an interesting pair of goggles though.
Can wash try and figure out if the clockwork armour is useable and if so how it works?
He can. Make an Investigation check, unless you can suggest another skill or tool that would be relevant?

Balassar, you're checking the workshop, right? You don't find anything that Alton didn't see, not with that roll.
(OOC: As a reminder, look through the descriptions of the rooms and tell me if there are specific things or places that you want to search.)
