The group finds themselves once more facing the Arena Master in his throne, seated in the observation area. He looks you over and seems less-than impressed. "You survived, at least all but one of you." He shrugs, clearly not at all worried about the loss of Galin. "You will find your rewards in your chambers." With that you find yourselves teleported again, now back in the feast area. Immediately food is served, most from the first battle yet, but some other items added in. Noticeably nothing from today's battle is served this time.
When you go back to your rooms you find a magic item waiting for you. there is also a sack of gold.
Pike received a potion of superior healing, and purchases more javelins and arrows. "Potion isn't as impressive as the ring, from last time, but I guess if I ever live to see the end of this I'll be pretty set for money. Might just quit my job and retire somewhere peaceful like."
After you have had time for a long rest, and to recover from any lingering issues from the previous battle, the Arena Master summons you back to his throne room.
"Now we will have the first test of your skills in battling each other." He informs the group of you. "These battles will go until someone is knocked unconscious. Do not try my patience by trying to kill a downed foe, or you might be facing me sooner than you would wish."
With that you find yourself teleported back into the arena. It has changed though, now you find yourself in a dirt-packed area, 150 feet by 130 feet, with a single enemy standing 150 feet from you.
"Fight." The Arena Master says throughout the arena.
