"I don't want to say we need help, but honestly that's just pride. Howdy." Harok doesn't look up as he tries to find a place he could tie a rope. "Have they told you what we're up against? Shit. Sorry. Harok Gluth." Harok stops and extends a hand.
"I don't know if you have ever gone bow fishing but I think with a little surprise and a little luck we can entangle the beast and make our work more manageable. "
Looking over the newcomers Harok asks, "so are you members or applicants like us, well most of us" as he finishes speaking his eyes dart to Medb
Elijah looks over the party with a smile and says: "Greetings. My name is Elijah. I look forward to help in any way I can in our now shared quest. Please tell me how I can assist. Do we have a plan for the beast yet?"
"I am an applicant also" Elijah says to Harok shaking his hand

„Well, as far as a plan goes, when we run into our prey, i will try to stun it, or at least knock it to the ground with a few well placed punches, but my challenge is to get close enough to hit it with my fists. There are two problems though, what to do if it is high up in the air and i can only use my bow to reach it and what to do if i do manage to knock the beast down, how do we keep it down? Also what do we do if there is more then one beast!“
OOC: I didn't want to read any of the thread, so I'm not even sure who the other party members are. Could we maybe have everyone provide a quick description?
Midnight stands behind Elijah, watching critically at his exuberance. "And I'm Midnight. Don't worry - I'm not here to convert you and my goddess is not interested in fair skins," she says with a slight self-deprecating quirk of her mouth. She has dusky black skin, violet eyes and long, white hair tied in an unkept top knot. She is obviously of drow lineage, but her ears are slightly rounded and her face has softer lines, betraying her half elf heritage. Dressed in a breastplate with obvious spider motifs that have been scratched and gouged, neither the armor nor the shield appear to have been made for her originally..
"As my friend said, we are also applicants so for us to succeed, you must succeed. I didn't hear you say - what exactly is it you're hunting here?"

“Non-drow would be another way of explaining. Our gods and goddesses are very selective. Luckily for you, I don’t have any racial prejudices when it comes to the use of Zinzerena’s gifts,” she says with a small smile.

OOC: We'll assume intros happening quickly. Milo -halfling monk, Wuldric elven blood hunter, Feldspar dwarven wizard, and Harok half-orc fighter. Medb is a human fey-variant ranger full member of the Take and quarry master.
"Glad we're getting along," Medb says her breath visible on the ledge. "The time for introductions comes later I think. We do have a beast to bag before sunset tomorrow," she reminds everyone with a soft smile.
Henwyn then pops into view. The sprite whispers in Medb's ear and pops out of sight again!
"There's movement about 170ft in," the ranger whispers her tone low now almost a whisper.

Wuldric gives the clerics a smile and a silent wave.

"Kill it?"
"Well lets do our best to do such. Have you spied the monstrosity yet? I may be able to help make someone a bit more stealthy if needed."
"No. No sightings yet but you can see the bodies and such. We're close."
"Do we have a scout or someone stealthy in the party?"
"Medb? You're little friend? I fear any of us would be more bait than scout." Harok looks to the corpses. "It comes this way. "
"I can give our party - one member at a time guidance from The Wild Mother"
"Sorry I'm not very religious. From who?"
"The Deity I serve - Melora The Wild Mother. You have not heard of her?"
"It sounds familiar. Sorry, no offense. I was raised by a dragonborn who worshipped Kord. I heard of nothing else."
"No offense taken my friend."
"I'm not opposed to divine help"

Harok taps his axe. " if we get it secured I'll keep it down. Permanently."

The dark green half-orc looks befuddled. "Fair skin"
