Ralph the goliath barbarian has lived in seclusion for years, shunned by his tribe for his erratic and destructive tendencies. While he has gained discipline in his seclusion, his reputation still remains. Somewhere in Lord Vanderbilt's vault lies the mysterious Medal of Arcadia, stolen long ago from his people, just the kind of treasure he needs to prove his worth and be accepted at last.
Now with those disney characters i might have to go with the group on this one, but all i can think of is Baloo the Bugbear Bard or Hercules the fighter.

Long ago lord Vanderbilt sought to tear down my family’s name. He made a deal with a hag to put a curse on me. My family lost its fortune and favor and cast out as paupers. My name is Kuzco, Druid of the grasslands. It’s time I get my groove back. (Spends lots of time as a llama)
I mean your ideas were great ... just having fun. Whatever you want to play I’m sure we can make anything work.
Okay everyone, I thank y’all for saying interest one way or another. I’m counting only three applications that actually provided appropriate information. I’ll leave it open for another day for any new people or revisions and call it one way or another.
For clarity and ease I’ll repost it here:
It looks like mostly votes for heist. So let’s start with that.... maybe next “episode” will be a sea daring adventure. I’m thinking level 3 to start out with. modified array: 16,15,14,14,10,8. If you want to get a little wacky with it that’s fine.
As far as background goes. You will be starting off in a metropolitan city area. Everyone has a relationship somehow with Lord Vanderbuilt. He has somehow crossed you or a loved one and you’re looking to take him down a peg. He is a wealthy lesser noble who runs the “newspaper” and media conglomerate by day. It’s rumored that he also runs an underground high stakes gambling ring, but no one has ever been able to prove it.
Backstory: Modo was born misshapen and malformed. His parents weren't able to care for such a child, left him at the stairs of the local cathedral where he was raised by the local clergy. Due to his disfigurement, he was often hidden from the public, but he studied the ways of the church from the rafters. He became the cathedral's bell ringer. One day, he overheard a discussion between the head of the church and Lord Vanderbuilt. They were discussing their long terms plans on how to maximize profits from the church and re-allocate donations for personal gain. Convinced that Lord Vanderbuilt corrupted the church, Modo ventured forth to get even.
Modo is a hunchbacked dwarf with a horribly misshapen face. Despite his deformations, he's physically fit and very observant. He worships [local god]. He believes the church should be a safe space for any and all. Those threatening that safety are his sworn enemies.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Wildemount: Dark Star One Shot (potatocrown) - Hops - Level 7 Wood Elf Monk (Way of the Drunken Master)
Kyser Soze left his forest home in search of his sister. She came to the city despite the advice of the clan to pursue her writing. At first letters were sent home saying how well she was doing. She had been hired by Noble him and merchant that to help them advertise or to write their biographies. The last letter received was that she was going to be writing for the great Lord Vanderbuilt. She had written how exited she was to get this great opportunity, how even though there were rumors of the Vanderbuilt family having ties to the underground how she was sure that mustn't be true. The letter closed with her saying "If there is anything to the rumors maybe I can write about them from the inside! How awesome would that be?"
Kyser always had fast hands and a way with blending into the surroundings. While with the clan his hijinx were just considered good fun. If he could pick a pocket or hide in the tavern until after hours and then drink the night away for free, well that was just way things worked. It was just part of his life. He didn't realize until moving to the city that not everyone shared those skills. He quickly learned that it was an easy and profitable way to make a living while gathering information about Lord Vanderbuilt. It didn't take long to find out there were others in the city with their own grudges against the Lord. Maybe that could be of some use...
I cannot make an online character sheet because they dont have a forest gnome option and i dont want to buy the digital handbook.
Backstory: "Cloak" was found as a baby wrapped in a cloak lying in a cave by a group of halflings who had taken refuge from a storm in the cave. Next to the child they found a torn off corner of a map from some far off country and a small stone of an unknown material. The haflings brought the starving child to live with them and through the years he became proficient with the shortbow. When he was 12 he was off hunting dire rabbits that had been terrorizing the village when he heared a loud rumbling sound. He was confused but continued his hunting. When he returned, the hafling village had disapeared and the only family he had ever known was gone. He began using his quickness and small size to steal for a living, moving from one town to the next hoping to hear some news of what had happened to the village but he heared nothing. He then began to look for an adventure hoping that that maybe somebody knew what had happend to his village.
will change stats if accepted (im too lazy to do it now lol)
I’m thinking of running a new game on here. I like the focus to be more story/RP driven. Not that there won’t be limited fighting or anything, just helps to keep the ball rolling in this format when people post other than there combat turns.
The thing is, I don’t really know what game I want to run. (Don’t have any proper source material). So I figured I would run a poll and see what people want. Some ideas popped into my head:
Island hopping sea adventure
Retelling of a Disney movie?
A heist
What else you got?
Once/if there is enough interest and we get a party of 4-6 to agree, we will then discuss character creations.I’ll allow others to toss out ideas and then we can make a poll or just figure it out together.
Looking forward to hearing from y’all
Hit the nail on the head right there with the disney stories LOL

I'm happy to change the name and/or play it straight for the sake of the game, but I think the character concept is solid.
Now with those disney characters i might have to go with the group on this one, but all i can think of is Baloo the Bugbear Bard or Hercules the fighter.
That’s all that really matters. It’ll be nice to find a balance. Keep things grounded

Island hopping sea adventure seems very interesting
,
Noted, I gave the character creation concept for the heist. But who’s to say it won’t turn to that after.
I would be for high-stakes heist. Pm me if you are still looking for a fierna tiefling bard.
Still accepting all applications, just post it here
