OOC: If someone makes the stealth check to steal the cloak let me know. This can take place after the party’s full rest, the bears will still be sleeping. I would imagine the rest of the party will be standing by in case it goes poorly, as it could turn into a difficult encounter - some of you felt the power of Owbears - although given the DC 13 for the stealth and the advantage, as well as the possibility of a bless spell, it might not be an issue. Of course, the party could also decide it’s too much risk and just abandon the 3rd magic item, your call.
Evan can cast Light, Guidance for 1d4 added to a skill check, and Silence just as added insurance. I think you can do it, but any extra harpy bodies would be a good backup to feed an owlbear...

Nanoc is willing to enter the owlbear's cave as long as someone can provide him with a light source that doesn't smell???
[OOC: A light cantrip on a stone, which is all but covered up, or something similar. He would not enter the cave without being able to see.]
[OOC: Is there a Bless available or some other kind of enhance spell available?]
A Light cantrip would indeed be a good solution for this. Nanoc would have taken care to clean himself from any blood on his person from the prior night’s encounter before doing so, to mitigate smells rousing the bears. Bless is also a good idea, just note I believe both Bless and Light require Concentration, so different casters would be needed.
Before having the spells cast on him, Nanoc strips down to just a loin cloth and smears dirt all over his body to try to hide his scent and asks for people to ready themselves with their missile weapons outside the owlbear's cave in case things go very bad for him; he will be coming out in a big hurry, if that happens.
Then wearing only his loin cloth and his sacred necklace (Avastar favours the brave) and carrying only a dagger and the light source, he sneaks into the cave.
Stealth check with Advantage: 11

Tyrus Mountson: Lvl 3 Dwarvish Bard; Waterdeep Campaign (Dragon Heist) Nanoc the Younger: Semi-retired Lvl 2 Rogue / Level 2 Barbarian Human; The Knuckle, Mror Holds, Ebberon. The Honourable Jaden Fellan: Level 3 Human Eldritch Knight; Band of Sunswall
AKA: Phillip Berrie: writer, editor and academic thrillseeker—a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
The party can also have gathered extra harpy corpses (for a possible handle animal as backup to again repel the Owlbears with easier meat than the moving and fighting Barbarian). He can roll with advantage, no issues with light or smell, DC 13 stealth.
Just barely - the Bless brings it to 13, which meets the DC and thus the bears do not awaken. You claim the cloak of protection, which also requires attunement.
Feeling smug, Nanoc hands the cloak to Evan and thanks him for his Guidance. He will then head back to the cave to see to the horses; food, water etc.
[OOC: Speaking of horses. Can I assume that Kerina left her horse's riding tack and feed? If so, I will add them to Nanoc's character sheet. Also, Nanoc will gather up any unused fire wood into a suitable bundle to put on Gladios' back in case there is none available at the mine.]

Yes, she abandoned her horse and feed and took her personal belongs. The horse can be led along with the others and serve as an additional pack animal.
[DM, Do we have to worry about water in these mountains? I'm thinking particularly about watering the horses.]
Assuming the party brought rations for the Journey, and loaded water skins before leaving, it probably would be advisable to see if a fresh stream can located on the way, also for the horses. A standard DC 12 survival check can be attempted once per day of travel to locate such a water source.
Happily taking the cloak and cleaning it carefully, Evan puts it on and passes the magical ring to whomever needs it. "Well done, Nanoc," he says simply.

Ah, my mistake. Sounds like a good plan. I assuming the group is assembled outside the cave to back up Nanoc in the event that the roll goes poorly.

[LOL. Not sure why I continue to do this, but the Stealth roll didn't include his +7 bonus, so the Guidance roll wasn't needed. Real Duh moment then.]

Yes, she abandoned her horse and feed and took her personal belongs. The horse can be led along with the others and serve as an additional pack animal.
With his Expertise in Stealth, Nanoc easily spirits the magical cloak away without rousing the full, sleeping Owlbears.
Determime who will use these new magic items and be sure to adjust your character sheets accordingly.
