The Death Dog does not make it into the wagon, it will use its action to dash and jump again into the wagon. (if it would have won it would have gotten to attacks) you all may take your turns.
I will start this round with Dalton taking two attacks at the Death Dog Attack: 23 Damage: 15 Attack: 6 Damage: 10
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Bones reaches out to the death dog in the wagon, muttering "Pain and suffering, foul beast," as he does. As he reaches out, shadowy tendrils wrap around his hand, barbs and thorns seemingly growing out of them (casting inflict wounds at 1st level).
Talinian sees the first of the two-headed wolves fall, then pulls out his crossbow. "Time to see if my practice has paid off," he says to himself. He pulls out his crossbow and lines up on the wolf Bones just attacked and looses a bolt at it.
Spell attack: Attack: 17 Damage: 6
Attack: 21 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
ooc: I was testing a couple of things. Please disregard this attack roll. The original attack roll was a 9, which I am sure misses.
Bones easily escapes the biting dog after his necrotic touch withers it somewhat. He grins as he mutters another incantation and points to the dog in the cart, "Maybe a little more pain and you'll either leave us be or die!" (casting Toll the Dead, Wisdom Save DC 15 or 10 necrotic damage).
Dalton swings his sword once taking off one head, as the second head readies to bite Dalton he swings his sword and removes the second head.
The remaining Death Dog hears the yelp of the other death dog and jumps out of the cart to run off. (Unless you are going to use your reaction to kill the beast he will use his action to dash his speed is 40 feet so he would end his turn 80 feet away.) Dalton says "Let him go, we like them to keep others away."
Talinian descends, landing comfortably on his horse. "Is everyone well? Does anyone require healing? If not, let us proceed and Dalton can tell us about two-headed wolves on the way."
"We live in a castle, have for well a long time, story goes ummmm when it was first found it was already abandoned and forgot about. The and filled with these death dogs. The old lord of the castle must have ummmm kept them as a pet, and ummmmmm they lived on and breed after he died, maybe that’s why people left it alone. Ummmm when The Unwanted Blood found it, they cleared out most of the Death Dogs, they let the rest ummmm get away so that they would still surround the compound to help keep people away. Normily I wait and take this last part at night so that I am not alone, Ingon is able to get them to leave without a fight, most times.”

Bones nods to Talinian at the query if everyone was alright. As they continue on, he keeps an eye out for any herbs or plants that he might be able to harvest in order to produce some more healing potions, this day and this job were turning out to be a bit more than he had expected (Perception: 6 and Nature: 24 +2 if you want to include Herbalism Kit prof).
Dalton is not smart enough to come up with this on the fly. You keep an eye out as you travel and just see the tree line, and some birds fly past every so often.
Dalton looks around at the trees before starting again, he licks his finger and holds it in the air, the way one does to test the wind, with your insight you see that he has no clue what he is really doing by doing that. "Not much more, just an hour, maybe a little more."
Bones you find
You travel closer to another 2 hours before you start to see a castle, and a 3rd hour till you get close to it, it is almost noon. The castle gates are closed and you can see sentry along the wall. Four of them have long bows with arrows notched and aimed at you all.
"Dalton! Who are your travelers on this fine day?" a 5th sentry yells down to you all
“HI! Ummmmm Sir. It is a fine day but ummmmmm the wolves are nowhere to be seen?” Dalton replies back, more in a question than an answer as he scratches his head.
The three of you start to whisper to each other about the death dogs you fought earlier that day, and he turns back to you all and says, “I think that's the right answer.”
Mia would pop her brow and give Dalton a double take for his prowess with his sword, beheading the wolves. "Fair 'nough." She was fine with letting the final beast run away with its tail between its legs.
"All good here Talinian." The warrior would confirm during his check in.
Otherwise the warrior would follow along with her head on a swivel, keeping an eye out for any other potential foes while they continued on their way. She'd make sure Bone's back was watched at he picked his herbs.
Mia would stand quietly, tilting her head slightly at what Dalton calls up to the guards. Passphrase? She'd cast a glance to Talinian and Bones.
