During Korba's watch after spending time with the blade it turns to sand in his hands.
5 this is to determine which of the 6 features Korba gets to his weapon. With the 5, you get to add 1d4 of chaos damage, roll a d8 on the choas bolt chart to determine what damage type you deal, and add 1d4 of that damage.
These are investigation rolls for the party, I have areas for each roll, let me know where all you want to look, also if you want Bones to look at something.
(Because Bones has Detect Magic currently active? As for Gorm... How fast is Cinder? What size is Cinder? Is it practical that the spider would catch up, get in front of Gorm, and be able to write anything large enough for her to notice? Can Cinder even write?)
(I figured Gorm would be stopping somewhere just outside to wait for everyone else, and that's where Cinder would catch you. As for writing, my familiar can communicate with me that he's found you and I can control his actions to create the writing.)
(I figure we can start in this room, move to the rooms outside the circular room, avoiding the room with the ghosts if they are still active, and then move to the first floor and check those rooms).
Gorm reaches the top of the stairs before she notices nobody has bothered to follow her. She waits for a couple, three minutes to see if they're just slow. She then waits another two minutes listening intently to see if she hears the sound of combat. Finally she stealthily makes her way back down the stairs. Peeking out she notices that nothing has changed, except the door is closed.
"Excuse me? Ghost people?" Gorm asks, having crossed the room twice now and having determined these ghosts just don't seem to care. "You think they're in trouble in there or you think they're just doing dirty guy stuff that they don't want anyone seeing?"
Assuming no response, Gorm will cross the room and knock, knock, knock upon the chamber door.
(OOC - has it been decided that we're closing up the door and resting already? I thought we were still discussing that? Sorry, I'm confused as to where we're at and what everyone is doing.)
Bones hears Gorm calling out and makes his way over to the door and opens it slowly, "Ah Gorm, are you okay? I sent Cinder to find you?" He clicks his fingers and she reappears on his shoulder, "Do you want to come join us as we look around before we head back?"
I'll say that Gorm spent the rest with the team. So starting down stairs aside from Oron, who looks like he died yesterday, there is nothing in this room. Oron is also with out a glaive. In the north and south room there are 5 sarcophaguses each, with glass covers, these bodies seem a little more decayed than Oron, but still does not look to be the thousands of years that the tomb seems to be. On both rooms east walls are a weapon rack, each with 5 glaives, when Bones casts detect magic and looks at them he sees he sees some form of magic that is old and long forgotten, therefore is unsure of what it is, they also show enchantment magic, except one that shows aberration magic.
Does anyone take one?
Also did anyone take the armor off Ingon before resting and try to put it on? It is leather armor that showed aberration magic.
"Things are buried for a reason," Gorm will say to... the general populace. "Stealing from the dead is not likely to work out well. I'm all for investigating and looking... But once someone takes something, I am out of here and they're on their own."
If/Once someone does seem to be taking and keeping something that was put here, Gorm walks out the way they came into this place. (Ingon's stuff doesn't count. He was an interloper here, not put to rest here.) On that principle, Gorm will not physically disturb anything. She also just has no interest in glaives nor armor since they don't suit he style of fighting.
(OOC - ah I missed the part about Ingon's armour. I'll retcon a statement in now. & just want to check with everyone, long rest correct? & if long rest, are we setting up watches?)
"I'm not sure what exactly that armour is, but it's magically enhanced with abjuration," Bones points to the armour on the dead body of Ingon, "I'm looking to acquire some armour, but am happy to defer the enchanted piece to another if they wish it."
He points out the different glaives to everyone, indicating what he knows on each.
(DM question - you mentioned that the glaive of Ingon disintegrated into sand while Korba held it, was that the piece that broke off or the whole thing? Thinking that Oron's glaive may have been the one Ingon was using.)
After resting Korba says to Bones“I would like to learn more of this Oros... if you see anything in here with your sharp eyes that would give us more history please let me know. The blade shard we found turned to dust when I was looking it over, though I feel there is more to this, and it is clearly connected with the source of my powers...”
Korba also definitely is interested in the glaives, and will pick up, and perform a training form he used when teaching, to swing each around, testing their balance and heft, as well as to see if he can understand their energies.
Korba there are 10 glaives, would you like to pick a number, the one that has aberration magic (number 2) or is there any type of coloring/design that you would be looking for?
As for the rest my understanding was that you did take a long rest, Bones, Talinian, and Korba voted for it, so yes a long rest would have been taken. I am happy to say that Gorm took it with you all, and that everyone took a watch, even if all 5 watches were Nat 1s nothing happened, and the ghosts have been doing just what they have been, nothing but chilling out.
During his watch, Bones will cast guidance on himself and attempt to acquire the small book that his detect magic identified from Talinian's pack (Sleight of Hand: 13 + 2).
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Talinian I need you to make a perception check to see if you can tell if Bones takes it. 13 means you think to look for it when you wake, 15 means you notice him taking it.
If the following number is 1-10 it's at disadvantage, 11-20 normal roll. 18 so disadvantage, due to sleeping.
Korba would start with the aberration one, as it's different, and depending on how much time the rest of the group takes to do their things, will 'play with' more than one, in no real order.

"I will use my magic to identify any magical items we find, beginning with this book, Ignon's armor, and the glaive Korba wants. It is a ritual so I can cast it as many times as needed."
Perception 4
Not finding the book, Talinian turns to Bones. "Return the book to me, NOW, Bones. I will not ask again. Do not dissemble, do not prevaricate, do not lie. You are the only one who would have stolen it. None of the others would care enough to take it while I slept." His voice is cold, flat, a voice of doom, quite unlike any other voice you have ever heard him use before.

(If no one wants the Ingon's leather armour, Bones will take it, but not wear it at present. He'll look to identify it first.)

Does ritual casts still require the components, I'm not finding anywhere that says it does not.

(Yes, components are used, but unless the spell description says the components are consumed, they are not and can be used for each casting.)

Ok, so do you have the pearl, it's not in your inventory.
