Beatrice will also give up her bunk for Dillyu, preferring also to sleep under the stars.
You offer your bunk to Dillyu, who responds "I appreciate the offer, though I prefer the open air and sounds of the ocean."
Beorth overhears the offer and says "If you are offering up your bunk, I'd be interested in it. You might need someone down there to protect the refugees from Kijora's silver tongue, otherwise when he knocks off he'll try to bed as many of the menfolk and womenfolk as he can before we get to Brokenbank, something they might regret when they start getting weird rashes and itches in a few days time."
Dillyu prepares a magnificent feast from the haul that Oden and he caught and collected and everyone enjoys one of the best meals they have had in a very long time. Towards the end of the meal Three Earrings gets Beorth to bring up a giant barrel of extremely alcoholic, peaty and delicious whisky, which she shares with everyone on board.
Anyone who wants to can roll perception DC17, and if they pass:
Three Earrings only pretends to drink her whisky and stays sober, keeping an eye on everyone.
Dajarkal only eats the kelp/seafood and seems upset about the fish and seafood that was caught and is being eaten EXCEPT about the red spotted catsharks. She tells anyone who will listen about how much of a problem red spotted catsharks are, about how they are not native to the local waters and instead are native to Tal'Dorei, and about how they followed trade vessels accross the Shearing Channel. She explains that this caused the extinction of some species and has severely impacted the diversity of marine life all over Exandria. This then turns into discussions about other things humanoids have done to cause mass species extinctions and how humanoids are much worse for Exandria than dragons or any other creature type, and she is quite convincing, especially after a few whiskies.
As the night wears on, people slowly start pealing off and heading to their bunks or their places on the deck, to get a night's rest. [Everyone, you get a long rest. If there is any PC to PC roleplaying anyone wants to do over a few drinks, they can, though all the crew are asleep for the night.]
Oden congratulates Dillyu for the feast and proceeds to eat quite a large portion, finding he likes the taste of the red-spotted catsharks. He stayed away from the whiskey at first, eyeing Three Earrings suspiciously, but after seeing others enjoying it for a while, he starts drinking, too... hard.
Laire would try everything and, actually, listen Dajarkal, agreeing that the subject is fascinating and asking professional questions about migration patterns and feeding grounds of known species in different parts of the ocean (who could think non-elves could be so attentive!). So, for her, the party went amazing.
[...] Oden congratulates Dillyu for the feast and proceeds to eat quite a large portion [...] after seeing others enjoying it for a while, he starts drinking, too... hard.
Dillyu thanks you again in Aquan, you can tell you have made a friend.
The whisky is very good, and definitely not the cheap rum or whisky you would usually expect to find sailors drinking on a ship [If you are a whisky drinker, think an Islay scotch, with the flavours somewhere in the Lagavulin - Laphroaig - Ardbeg range of peatiness.]

So, for her, the party went amazing.
Dajarkal seems pleased that Laire is interested in what she is saying and even more so that she seems to be agreeing with her points. It seems that often others make fun of her a bit about her views, or get annoyed at her going on about it. She speaks at length with Laire about marine life.
She then starts talking about how even the sky-ships travelling between Port Demali and the cities of Ank'Harel, Vasselheim, Emon, and Whitestone have significant impacts on bird migration, as birds have started to follow those routes due to the passengers feeding them on the open sky-deck, and that is having impacts on the ecosystems they were previously part of.
Reguh would have asked to check out the spyglass over dinner. And also not have drank much, if any.
The smiles and winks at Reguh "Three Earrings is happy to let friend Reguhhave a look at her spyglass, maybe after the heroes defeat Selachai, friend Reguh can let Three Earrings borrow his robe?
She opens an intricately patterned case and removes the spyglass and hands it to you and gets you to look through it, and what you see is what you would expect (see here for regular spyglass), with objects being magnified to twice their size. Given it is dark outside (and spyglasses don't increase the range of darkvision), you can only really see things on the ship, but at twice their size.
Out of the corner of your eye, you see that Three Earrings then covers the case from anyone's view. She appears to do something inside the case and then suddenly everything that you see through the spyglass looks as though you are viewing it in the middle of the day. She does something else inside the case and says "Brokenbank" and you feel the spyglass forcefully move your hand to point in the direction that the Wavechaser is travelling. She calls Heidi over and whispers something in her ear, then does something else inside the case and says "Heidi Axebeard" and you feel the spyglass forcefully move your hand to point in the direction Heidi is. Heidi moves off and walks down the to the lower deck and the spyglass keeps correcting to point in her direction as she moves, and when you look through it you can see her and her surroundings on the lower deck.
Three Earrings then says "Three Earrings thinks this is a good beginning demonstration yes?Three Earrings can show friend Reguh much more about her spyglass and lend it to him after the heroes defeat Selachai and when friend Reguh lends his robe to Three Earrings, yes."
Beatrice will give her bunk to Beorth with a nod and a wink. Perception: 4 She tucks heartily into all of the food offered, but only has a couple of glasses of the whiskey before heading off to bed.
Beorth thanks Beatrice, and Beorth spend much of the night playing games of chance with anyone that will play before retiring to his bunk on the lower deck.
[Everyone, remember to take a long rest if you haven't already.]
“Wake up, travelers” the voice of Boerth booms below deck, rousing everyone down there from their slumber. The sun is barely above the horizon, but you can just make out the docks of a port through the porthole window of your cabin. “It’s past dawn and time to get moving.”
Those that slept under the stars have a much gentler awakening, either with the seabirds and a light rain waking them just before dawn, or the smells from Dillyu's on-deck cooking of some kind of grilled flatbread for breakfast (which he started shortly after the rain stopped) slowly waking you. You too can see that the Wavechaser will be at the island of Brokenbank within the next hour or so.
Dillyu thanks you and offers you a strange smelling drink, "It is called Kawfee, I think you will like it". [The flavours are quite close to Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk (à la Hoi An, Hanoi or Footscray) and it really seems to help wake you up.]
Beatrice accepts the kawfee gratefully, sipping it slowly and allowing it to warm her hands. "Mm, thank you. I have a feeling this will be my longest trip at sea, but not my first, no. I've been wandering for about ten years now, so have definitely travelled a few different ways, but that has been to hop islands more than anything else. What about you, how long have you been a sailor for?"
[...] What about you, how long have you been a sailor for?"
Dillyu responds "I've been working on ships since I was 12, initially pealing spuds, cleaning pots and swabbing decks for table scraps. I'd say I've been a proper sailor for the last 30 to 35 years." For reference, you know that elves natural lifespan is 700.
Both the seabirds and the soft rain were welcomed by Laire - a perfect wake up call for a perfect morning! And surely a very interesting day. Just to think of it - two days ago she was a lone traveler, with a, though ambitions, but quite vague idea about her future, and now she is part of the group, assembled to save the islands! She looked around the deck searching for her comrades in arms. Yesterday feast allowed to learn them a bit - at least their names, but now they were closer to their destination and some proper interaction was in order. Beatrice seemed to find a useful way to pass the time before docking. "Good morning. Need a hand? Not the best cook you can get, but can help with something simple - like peeling,"Laire smiled to both Beatrice and Dillyu.
Dillyu welcomes the help "I was just about to fry off the last of the cran fruit as it happens, for anyone who wants something a bit sweeter with the bread for breakfast, so the offer it appreciated." He offers you a kawfee before fetching a peeler and saying, "Your friend here was just telling me about her travels, have you two been travelling together for long?"
Laire smelled the drink, then tasted it - but did not gulped right away (stimulating effect was clear, but she did not need it that much), she nodded appreciatively nevertheless and begun to work: "We only met yesterday. Not sure it can be called a meeting - like all others were fighting those fishfolk. I can tell it again - very impressive fighting."She gave Beatrice a smile. "With feast yesterday and everything - I am not sure how do we even begin our work. I suppose we should truly meet and come up with the plan, right?"
"Seems like!" Beatrice smiles. "We find out what we need to do, then we do it - nice and straightforward. You were very impressive yesterday as well, I hope we have the opportunity to continue travelling together after this."
Vincent, Bryn approaches you as the Wavechaser is approaching the Brokenbank docks and says to you "I've spoken to the captain and told her that we are going to help some of the refugees out and have them stay with us temporarily and have our contacts arrange temporary shelter for others, so they can all plan their next moves. The captain has suggested you all deserve a reward, and I cannot agree with her more. Come and visit me and Piotr at the Prawn's Pawn and General Store, as not only will you and your friends always have a discount, but we will gather together a fair reward for you all."
Other refugees are now starting to emerge from below decks with the few possessions they were able to save.
[I want to allow any final PC to PC and PC to refugee roleplaying before arriving at Brokenbank, so anyone who wants to can keep going with that, though I'm going to have everyone's characters disembark in about 8 to 10 hours from now real time. After everyone has finished everything they want to do, the boat docks and Three Earrings stands ready to peak with you as you disembark.]
"Thanks for the compliment, though can not take all the credits. When you grow up in mountains you learn a thing or two about rocks. And it looks like we will stay together. Never though I will be hunting a sea creature." She frowned a bit, "and a humanoid at it. But I guess this is what the life around hear is about - you have to defend yourself, even from your neighbours." Laire sighed and then smile again: "Oh, well, let's see what the Captain has to tell us at the shore."
You offer your bunk to Dillyu, who responds "I appreciate the offer, though I prefer the open air and sounds of the ocean."

Reguh wakes up and goes to the deck. With a stretch and a smile he deeply inhales the fresh morning sea air.
Aliez spends the morning on the prow of the ship lost in thought. She has bags under her eyes and looks tired.
