(It would be useful to know how they are positioned. Are they all grouped up, or are they surrounding us left, front and right? Who do I see on my turn?)
((I know this is out of order but for expediency, so y'all aren't waiting for me for the rest of the day. Please adjust targets accordingly if needed))
With the ease of one familiar with the hunt, Grim nocks an arrow and let's it loose towards the nearest bandit.
ERVALIN: Don't know if Revel is waiting for others to post, but given Conen and Grim are likely to just shoot bows why don't you post a couple of actions as well, stating any dependencies.
REVEL: Understand completely if you are still prioritizing the family but it would be good if you could check in, and maybe describe how you want the combat turns to go. And just to reinforce the suggestion made, when you do announce an encounter it would be good to describe the current terrain and how far each of the opponents are away and even the weapons that they are carrying. If we are going to use theater of the mind approach we need to know this sort of stuff to help determine actions.

"Bubbles the Barbarian" (Locathah - Lvl 9) - Locathah Rising; Shai'ere Delatete (Githyanki Monk - Lvl 9) Rrakkma (deceased - MindFlayer); Saros Rockfoot (Deep Gnome Diviner - Lvl 5) - The Lost Kenku & One Grung Above; Tagret (Goliath Barbarian - Lvl 2) - Tales of Faerun;
Hearing the bandits, Ervalin says: "Ah, a chance to test the spell gem!" He activates the gem, casting the contained Mage Armor on himself, then he puts his back to the trunk of the tree closest to him, on the West side, to get some cover from possible crossbow attacks.
Map added 1sq=5 ft, Character tokens labeled with first letter of name, posts of turns so far may be kept or changed, added Adabra to the turn order with a initiative roll of 19. If you would like a different position in marching order then please let me know. This map is accurate as of the 1st round of initiative without any movement or turns taken. You are all aware of their positions and vise versa. You notice only 2 of them have light crossbows (1&4) The rest are armed with Scimitars. They come out from behind trees menacingly, meaning to close in on you all. Jeb, (6) is the one who gave up the bandit surprise round

Conendyl, crossbow in hand just swings it toward the voice, drawing the string and sliding a bolt home with the practiced ease of one who is familiar with (albeit larger) such weapons, yelling to the others "Watch out, get yourselves to cover" and then shoots, mumbling to himself "Killer Bee, lets see what you can do" in undercommon, repeating the name inscribed on the weapon, won.
Conen will move toward the danger to close within 30ft and aims for the leader if he can see him, if not the closest bandit - Attack9 Damage if(Unable to parse dice roll.,9)
and with his Bonus Action he will attack the same bandit if still standing or the next nearest: - Attack22 Damage if(Unable to parse dice roll.,8)
and will then move the rest of his available movement toward the tree line on whichever side of the road has the most bandits, seeking to put cover between himself any of them with a bow, but still stay at ranged distance (>30 ft away from the nearest as long as that does not move Conen backwards behind the party - he wants to draw attention but stay out of melee range if possible).
OOC: hmm - damage roll formula supposed to check if the previous roll is a 20 then roll critical damage - can anyone advise what is wrong with this formula Damage if([ roll:-1 ],20,[ roll ]1d6+10[ /roll ],[ roll ]1d6+4[ /roll ]) - Revel - note that the normal hit damage roll is valid
OOC: Glad that everything is okay - welcome back
IC:To be specific now that we have the map (thx), Conor moves to the tree line toward his target (Bandit 1) but tries to stay >30 ft from Bandit 1& 2 whilst getting some cover from the trees, particarly from bandits on the other side of the path. Tree immediately the his right seems the obvious choice.

OOC: Is the translation "Eye of the White Raven"?
I remember, I'm still giving them a chance to change what they would like to do if they would like. Most all of you will have a turn before the bandits with the exception of like two of them.
Yes, That is a perfect translation.

Adabra attempts to cast sacred flame on the nearest bandit who must make a dex save 2 vs DC 12.

Edited to specify where Ervalin tries to take cover.
Grimadim
The hulking man draws back the string of his longbow. Letting fly an arrow towards Bandit #3
Attack: 18 Damage: 9
He then moves to a position that provides cover for Adabra. "Stay behind me windmill lady. I'll keep you safe"
((Basically, Grim attacks as the original post, but now has a target and a purpose after the initial attack))
