You both find yourself in Western Sharn at an interesting little hole in the wall pub named Fanny on the Hill. All of the establishments in this area are small and cramped as though they didn't think things out well when planning this portion of the city. Because of this, most of the business are individual ran or at least small businesses such as the Sturdy Seamstress, Don't Ask Leathers, and the Affordable Formal Attire shops. The front of the pub is green with gold trim around the door and 2 windows. Once inside there is yet more green to assault your eyes in the long and narrow building with a bar that seems to run the entire length with the expected shelves of bottles behind. At the very end of the bar are a few tables in the small space that just allows them to fit, and there's a boisterous and happy feeling throughout the crowd that very nearly fills the place. Most of the patrons seem to be halflings and gnomes but you do see other races such as satyrs about. 4 bar tenders in total service the length of the bar, all halflings.
How do your characters show up and what will they do?
The Drow female lifts her head to gaze upon you, and you see her bright red eyes beneath dark lashes fix upon yours then look you over. "Well met Baylen, you are certainly full of questions now aren't you?" she says with a small smirk in the corner of her full dark lips. As she continues to speak you find it hard to pull your attention away from her lips [make a wisdom saving throw] "My name is Priestess Dahlia Barrison Del'Armgo, but members of this little club are allowed to call me Dahlia for simplicity's sake... And this guild does have quite the reputation that I've worked very hard to build over the past 9 years, so please be mindful not to sully it, as I would not take well to that news.... You appear to be a few shades light of skin... I take it you were born on the surface then?"
"Well I can't hire ye' here, as ya can see I'm barely able to to keep Lindy there busy, but ye' might try askin' ol' Donel at the courier office 2 buildings down on the right. He'll be back in an hour or so from his rounds and he hears a litul from everyone round' town, so likely he knows at least a few tings bout it" he seems to ponder a moment as if mulling it over to ensure he didn't forget anything, and says "Well I'll get ye order right up" then looks to Ayo, "Sure ye don't want nothin'?"
The board he spoke of in the back of the room fit right into the scenery, very clean, modern, and had many small slips of paper attached that were all white with a golden border and elegant writing. They seem to be sectioned according to type, as there are rows including exclusively restaurants, another for various shops that all sounded expensive, a section for businesses and individuals for hire for anything from moving to exploration to fighting. There's another section for businesses looking for workers such as professional cooks, magic dispellers, hunters, mercenaries, and more. [Roll a perception check]
What you do notice is that the same name appears on a card in both the mercenaries section and the business/individuals for hire section; The Mystic Helix Guild. Beyond that, everything appears fairly normal and it appears you simply take the cards you're interested in.
Nissa takes the card for the Guild, curious as to what they would be up to on two seperate rows. She returns to her seat to eat her meal, "I suppose this watering hole might help you," she says to Belch. "We could go there together?"
When you begin to pull the card from the listings board, it's as if the paper is stretching without narrowing and eventually the full length of the original card separates from an exact duplicate left in it's place. When you flip the card over in your hand it reads "Please visit us with inquiries at any time" and lists an address which you know to be close to the center of Sharn on the hill.
Ayo looks at nebulas, "good morning" he replies. " my name is Ayoral, but you can call me Ayo. everyone does."
looking at the barkeep, he says, "anything you have for breakfast, and can you tell me anything about the Helix adventuring guild? oh and some scraps for Salem"
Looking back at Nebulas " I am not exactly sure why I am here. I took a fall last night, and I was saved by a healer. he advised me to come here and enquire about this guild. What brings you here?"

" nice to meat you Ayo, my name is Nebulas I was passing through needed a place to stop. You most have taken a bad fall to need a healer." "Now I am interested in this guild. I would like to hear about it."
" it was quite a way...... well all the way now I am thinking about it. fell from the skyway. I dont know how I survived. anyway. I know no more about this guild than you do. I was told to seek it out." Ayo pets Salem. "pretty sure this greedy guts knows something about it. he found the healer."

Belch gulps down his first glass of water as he goes to follow Nissa, but as she returns, he stops. He uses his non-wet hand to look at the card and nods as he hands it back to the gnome. "Mmmyes Nissa. Something to do would be variably welllcome." He gulps down the second glass. Wiping his face of the excess water, he hops up, leaving a puddle on the seat from his wet clothes from his previous soaking. "I'mmm ready whenever you are, grandniece," he smiles with a hand outstretched.

Nebulas thinks for a minute then says " I will take the lead and the eggs and bacon, thanks"
"I could also some information, I am looking for some work. I would greatly appreciate your help."

The barkeep nods and moves on his way to filling both of your orders leaving you to speak privately.
