You have each received a sealed letter telling you to come to a large field outside of town. When you arrive, you find that stands have been set up around the field to accommodate the people here to see their favourite contestant... you! A lightly armoured woman is shouting instructions to the coliseum Earthworkers who are crafting the latest arena with their magical skills. The other team is making their way to the far side of the field. Put on your armour, draw your sword and prepare your spells, for the fight is about to begin!

It's the morning of the second day since the Coliseum was revived. The stands around the fighting grounds are packed, because this battle will decide the first champion of the revived Coliseum! A team of powerful mages raises a marble tower in the centre of the field using their arcane power, surrounding it with elegant walls and greenery.
Once the arena has been crafted, Elspeth steps out to introduce the fighters. "Welcome one and all! This is a most exciting fight, for it will its winner shall be our champion! Now, to meet our contenders... Swigg, the trickster goblin who wields powerful illusory magic! Xeno, his contraptions are almost as strange as he is, he may be weird but he certainly isn't weak! May the best warrior win!"
To win... 1... King of the Hill. A single flag is set in the centre of the arena. The flag will be available to capture on the third round. Stay within 10 feet of the flag (¥) for 5 rounds while keeping your opponents away to take the match.
The map I've made should be an exact copy of that version, except that it will look different. This is the first time I'm trying this, so if there are any mistakes or things you'd like me to change/fix, just let me know. I'd especially like to know if you can easily tell the colours apart or if there are any I should change. If it doesn't work, we'll just switch back to the normal style of map.

Unless I have the firearm has the Repeating Ammunition infusion attached to it(Artificer Feature), the firearm has the following conditions attached to it:
Once fired, it requires a full action to load again. You can continue to fire a weapon up to its reload score before needing to load it again.
Those from the Exandria Set have additional costs: If an attack roll would fall at or under the weapon's misfire score(set on the item block), the weapon jams and requires a full action to fix(outside of later levels in Gunslinger class), and an appropriate Tinkerer's Tool check. If roll is failed, the weapon becomes unusable until you spend X amount of time outside combat repairing the weapon.
But it won't be an issue, as I won't be using a firearm for this match.

Green cannot stand itself." Xeno cackles even as he guzzled some weird smell alcohol down his throat from the oddly shaped wooden staff.

This magic weapon grants a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it when it’s used to make a ranged attack, and it ignores the loading property if it has it. ...
In other words, +1 and multi-shot works on a loading weapon.
I also want to clarify that the only firearms available in this world are Renaissance type weapons such as the Pistol, before an Antimatter Rifle shows up. So please, no Pistol (Exandria), which is Critical Role content.)

To BDaddly: Not Repeating Ammunition, but Repeating Shot Infusion. My apologies. The 'Overpowered' Turret as you put it was WoTC plus keith baker made official. Can even double check the artificer's official tab in regards to its artillerist subclass (released with its Eberron's: Rising From the Last War). As they did with Orcs and a few other races and subclass, the Critical Role artillerist info is likely a reprint from said material in addition to their own stuff. Though some were, like pistol(exandria) and other items marked as such were overhauled with the misfire mechanic and so forth.
As far as pistol goes, I have been using the base one(Renaissance) augmented by the class feature. I only mentioned the Exandria stuff for full clarity.
To Futuristic_kf: And as previously promised, not using Protector, but using the Flamethrower one. My apologies again for not making that clear sooner.

Xeno moves out towards the tower and suddenly the entire arena (except for P1) is covered in a heavy fog that no one can see through. Swigg taunts Xeno before disappearing into the mist.
(Enemies that cannot see each other cannot gain advantage or disadvantage on their attacks. Advantage from unseen attacker cancels out with disadvantage from 'blind' attacker, any further ad/da have no effect.)
(Is Xeno carrying the Eversmoking Bottle or did he put it on the ground? From my reading, it seems like the cloud would move with him as long as he's carrying it.)

So here's a DM's question... I assume simply covering his ears will not be sufficient. Though I am willing to spend my action doing so if it is. If it isn't, Xeno isn't above damaging his own hearing to make it happen. I just need to know what sort of check/or spell if any that I could use outside of Blindness/Deafness.
