Xeno appeared initially confused, as if the thought of anyone not remembering his name was an alien thought. But for the rest, he either smiled or simply nodded in agreement to the deal, and waved cheerily goodbye to the goblin. Hardly a second goes by before he snapped to attention to Nara, staff at the ready, and still fully expecting the berserker to charge at any moment. Fact of the matter was, even Xeno had been surprised she hadn't taken advantage of the chatter to do just that, the tricksy minx!
Got it! But someday -- SOMEDAY, they shall be best friends. Even if said best friendship is one-sided and the jam of madman's delusion.

Nara's shoulders drop as her frenzy wears off, panting from the exhaustion of pushing past her physical limits. "There's no way I'm getting through that armor myself..I know when to throw in the towel, so no need to keep your guard up, ya madman. Maybe I'll see you at Swigg's?"
With that, Nara slings her blade over her shoulder and steps up to Swigg. "Be seein you soon then, Swigg. Hope venison's okay."

Nara: Tiefling Bandit-Coliseum of Conquest: 2W-2L total downs: 3
Those arena goers too brave not to return, as well as all beyond it watch with bated breath as the stand off continues. Unfortunately due to some magical interference likely wrought by the chaos, not every detail can be heard from the contestants. But eventually it becomes clear that Swigg and Nara have decided to surrender the match. In seeing such sportsmanship, and with some further influence of Marmaduke's encouraging words, they leave the arena to the sound of cheers!
For his more direct contributions in dealing with the unexpected event, and overall enduring of both crisis and match, Swigg gains 5500 xp and 1040gp. As for Nara, though her courage in making sure coliseum did not go unnoticed costed a chance to remain the thick of things, she eventually walks away with 4500xp and 640gp. The gold and subsequent patching having been passed along for the heartwarming conclusion... and perhaps for not asking too many immediate questions about what the heck just happened.
As for the victors, they are taken below as well for tending and receive prizes for battle their efforts in spite of the odds (and also maybe more hushing up for now). Grianne and Xeno each earn 11000 xp, 2600 gold and a prize of their choosing!
Tier 3:
"Take any one item. We're well equipped." The room contains every item from Chapter 5 of the Player's Handbook weighing 70 pounds or less, armor of varying sizes, instruments, tool kits. There are also spell scrolls, every first level spell is present (as well as spell scrolls of a level for which a magic user of the characters new level would have slots for), and an encyclopedia of knowledge. Reading these books will grant you proficiency with any one tool kit or any one language, depending which book you choose. The books are magically infused to allow easy retention, but the magic is lost once used.
Upper Tier:
The victor may choose instead, an item from a magically infused chest that summons 10 randomly selected magic items to choose from (rarity determined by level). Alternatively they may exchange a magic item for another item of their choosing of the same rarity or lower, if the administrator has the requested item in his extensive collection. "You name it, we've probably got one somewhere."
That makes sense. Do you want to have the rematch sooner, because I can hold off on doing any leveling up aside from the new prize, or wait until Swigg catches up in levels?
