Not actually recruiting yet, I just added the recruiting tag to attract more people haha you've been tricked
So, quarantine has me feeling tired and unmotivated, so I feel like doing something that requires me to be neither tired nor motivated. Time to go DM a campaign in a world I haven't touched for years!
So, first, a little background on me. I've been playing D&D for over half a decade now. Wow, that sounds way more impressive than 5 years. I've also been playing for a 20th of a century. Nah, that doesn't sound as good. Anyways, half a decade. I actually started with 1E, and jumped all the way up to 5E around 3ish years ago? Something like that. Anyways, for the past 200th of a millennium, D&D has basically taken over my life. I've DMed a few times before, both online and in real life, though not for a super long time. Now that I've sufficiently bored you with dumb crap about me, let's move on to the fun stuff. Namely, the campaign setting.
Vraleon is actually something that's existed since I was in middle school. It was originally a setting that I came up alongside a few friends for LARP, back when I did that(for you uncultured swine who don't know what it is, LARP stands for Live Action Role Playing. It's a bunch of madmen running around, spouting nonsense and swinging fake weapons). I actually played LARP many years before I started D&D. Anyhoo, I forgot all about it once a went to high school and stopped playing LARP, but I recently rediscovered it and converted it into something that would work in a D&D setting. Goddammit, I just ended up talking about myself again. What can I say, I'm an egotistical bastard.
Vraleon is a world made up of a bunch of teeny tiny little islands, and a hell of a lot of water. The world is massive, with an uncountable amount of unique islands full of all kinds of unique creatures and... uh, other stuff. There's a lot of stuff. Because my crappy human brain is incapable of thinking up a whole world's worth of unique islands, I have a handy dandy random island generator I came up with. Don't worry, I also have cool special islands full of special stuff. Also, don't worry(again), it's not gonna just be some boring open world campaign, I've got plenty of plot to throw at y'all.
Anyways, now that that half-arsed intro is out of the way, who's interested? Anyone? No one? Not a single person? Damn.

I'm interested! I'm going to be moving for the next couple weeks, so I wouldn't be able to actually play during that time. I have a couple sidelined characters that would be a good fit here, though !

Sounds interesting. When were you thinking of starting up a game? & what character creation rules were you thinking?
I'll keep an eye out for when you start recruiting - it sounds like an interesting setting for a campaign.
Sylcan Naïlo - Eladrin Blood Hunter - DragonDenn's Dragonlords | Althaea Sylvaranth - Wood Elf Druid - JorvikDave's Storm King's Thunder | Ekane - Half-orc Warlock - Murk Over Gladerown | Aoth Meliamne - Aasimar Sorcerer - WoobyDoobyDoo's Vraleon
