"Why, yes I suppose we are. I'm Eniwin Arkanista The Faceted. Pleased to make your acquaintance." She gives a slight head nod in the humans direction, as well as a tip of her glasses. "And you are?" she asks politely.
"Damian, Damian Strongshield. BEST SMITH you'll ever come across Eniwin." Chugging his ale Damian set his mug down. Seeing the Bigger Male Goliath eyeing him "Yea, I can handle myself in fight BIGem."
At hearing the "small" human boast Tagret cannot help but smile at what he takes as a challenge "If that be the case let us wager on who is better then....five gold pieces, half your pay, to whomever takes down the most of any brigands we might come across on the trip - Gundren would not have hired so many unless trouble was expected" and you see that Tagret is deliberately flexing muscles in his shoulders, arms and chest....
"Are we to wait around here all day, or shall we go and see about getting the wagon moving? There be plenty of time for talk on the road....." at which point Tagret will go looking whoever is in charge of Gundren's loaded wagon, seeking to enquire further about the job and what time they are expected to leave.

Once Tagret eyes the contents of the wagon a confused look appears on his face, and turning to look at the others he say "Sixty gold to transport this.......this Gundren must either be a fool or knows something we do not" then shrugs "I guess we will find out soon enough..." his hands coming to rest on his hand axes.
"I am not one for soft comfort, and know naught about handling a cart, I will walk"

The watchful guard calls out to you all, "Y'all will want to take the south road from here along the High Road for about fifty miles. There you will come to the Trilboar Trail, take it and after about twenty miles you come to the northern road into Phandalin. That's the safest and most direct route to take. All in all it should take you about three days."

"Well then I think we are all here," Saravenasmiles as she joins the group. "Saravena Kirivalus a pleasure to meet you."
One of the group caught Saravena's interest the female goliath, Eniwin, who had the look of a scholar about her. She knew goliaths tend to prefer to become warriors, she had not heard of many goliaths taking the scholar's path. Saravena steps around to stand next to Eniwin.
"You are different, what is your story if you do not mind me inquiring?"
"Well met...," she replies shyly. She doubts it could be him, being that she was quite young when she was left alone in the forest. However, what is this feeling so sudden and new that has come over her at the sight of this giant of a man?
OOC: Tagret will have responded to Eniwin so apologies for the loss of chronology...
Surprised to see another of his kind, he stops and stares at Eniwin and a expression of remembered loss marks his features for a couple of seconds and then moves to obvious interest "I am Tagret...once of the" he stops himself from finishing then continues "...from the North. I have not seen a fellow Goliath in such a long time.....what events find you here...so far from home?" Although he does finish that with a look of some confusion, considering Eniwin does not really have the look of a hardened clanswoman
Replying to both: "Well I don't really know who my birth parents are. I was abandoned as a young child. Probably because im quite small for one of our kind," she motions to signify herself and Tagret. "Some folks found me in a forest on the way to Candlekeep. I was left there where I studied the arcane arts. That's where I learned what I am and maybe one day I'll find my birth family. Til then, the secrets of the arcane are what drives me.
Eniwin follows the crew and sits in the back of the cart, if there is room, and looks over her notes. If there is no room, she walks along side the cart. "I do hope we find many interesting things along the way. It has been a while since I've been in the wild."
Upon seeing the others come out of the tavern, Kita jumps to her feet and waves them over to the wagon. "Hi, was starting to think Gundren just hired me." She is average height for a human. She is dressed in simple leather armor and hides. Her skin is tanned and her brown curly hair cut short.
She looks over the others, her eyes widening at the sight of the goliaths. "Wow, never seen one of you before." She looks to the others. "Anyone wanna drive this thing?" She points to the wagon.

Eniwin motions towards the tanned human and asks her name. She then motions toward the driver seat and mentions no one has yet volunteered to drive the cart.
Saravena follows the others out to the wagon watching as people chose spots in or around it without anyone wishing to drive it.
"So long as we don't hit any difficult roads I can drive, unless someone else wishes to," Saravena drops her bag in the front, takes the driver's seat, then turns to Eniwin. "You say you studied at Candlekeep, my brother is up there he is studying evocation last I heard."

"Its possible I've run into him. Though my particular studies have led me down a more austere path than most. What waz your brother's name?" Eniwin tries to recall ever speaking with Saravena's brother.
Rashana nods to the guard showing the acknowledgment. "Thank you. Anyway, what do you think we should expect on this journey?"
The guard replies, "Well there are rumours of goblin attacks around the route between here and Phandalin. However, I'm not sure you need to be worried. Gundren and that warrior probably cleared the path on the way."

"Ha, I ain't dumb enough to challenge a Goliath in a contest of battle. Just know I can handle myself in fight yea."Damian places his hand out for a hand shake. Afterwards he will through his pack and gear on the wagon only keep his shield, mace and armor. Seeing the last hire hand "Aye if you want to control the wagon by all means go on a head.”
Target takes the offered hand and good naturedly replies "A shame...I was looking for a challenge...I shall keep count for us both anyway...you never know" finishing with a grin.
As the others settle into the wagon or mill about waiting to depart he repeats his warning "The open road is not a safe place...and rumours of goblins cannot be ignored. I will lead and maybe scout ahead at times and perhaps there should be at least a pair upfront....someone with keen eyes that can handle themselves in a fight"..a wry smile forming as he realises he was repeating Damian's claim and he turns and gives the cleric a wink.
"Shall we get moving then....?"

OOC: What time of the day is it?
Just before midday.
The guard wishes you luck as you begin making your way to the city gate. Once you through the southern gate, you find yourselves on The High Road. The sun is high is the sky above your heads, in a beautiful clear blue sky. Everything seems calm and peaceful compared to the busy lives within Neverwinter.

Eniwin turns toward Tagret and asks, "So Tagret, you're from the north? What's it like up there? I've never been around someone of my kind before, though I have read about them."
Kita walks with a bounce in her step alongside the wagon. She tries to eavesdrop in on Eniwin's conversation with Tagret, and probably does a very poor job at going unnoticed.
