Erevan: The wards are holding, the swarm is still testing them however!
OOC: Checks questions via PMs. An investigation and/or perception would be good everyone who has not already rolled those for the wards and the village in the distance but I feel like y'all need to specify what you are wanting to hear or to see or to find out because just a 'blanket' check isn't helping based on my DCs y'all are missing a lot because you aren't honing in on particular things or senses. Also there is still NO plan other than gathering the key stones which I will repeat Brida and Aldaryn's as well as the villagers minus Vera is enchanted which keeps them from seeing or feeling the powers of the stones.

Saarebas is most interested in the things walking around in the village. He wonders if they are undead and is going to smell the air hoping that he smells something like death and decay to prove his suspicions correct.
//Still not sure if this is Investigation or Perception so I'll just roll a blank d20 if its Perception it is +4 if its Investigation it is just a straight roll//
Saarebas: The villager is too far for you to see in great detail. You just see the shambling humanoid figures coming towards the hill encampment, as you take a deep breath in you do smell a hint of decay!

Erevan: The wards are holding and seem to repel the cloud as intended, the horde still progresses up the hill towards the encampment, the is about a dozen skeletons as well as a few shambling bodies each showing signs of death by recent violence!

Darik seeing the herd of people "I think we can handle whoever they are." Turning to Erevan and Aldulra "You should look for those stones, while we hold off these people."
[Can I see the group of people without rolling a perception? I do have a passive of 12 if you are using passive. I know you said that you didn't want multiple rolls last time.]

Erevan: It's right next to the ward. You don't know if you can cast, try or ask Vera?
Darik: You can see passed the wards if you join the others. But as for more checks yeah there's already been enough until passing through the wards moving down the hill.

Darik will join the others letting them know they should get ready to attack if the group of people get closer. If they need to do anything they should move now.

"Before we can make that decision we need to know where the other two stones are. Andulra, take both of the stones in hand. Do you get an idea which way the others are?"
Meanwhile, yes Erevan will quickly find Vera and ask about casting through the ward. Wouldn't want to damage them.
Erevan: Vera frowns, "no you can not. Why what's happening," she asks you."Yes, the stones we must find the stones," Brida says to the party before Erevan leaves to ask Vera.

Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
A brief skirmish ensues! Vera and her maidens as well as surprisingly the clerics and acolytes give aid to your party. They unite strengthening the wards with their focused druidic arcane and religious magics. This focus sends a shock wave of radiant energies out against the darkness creeping up the hill, you watch through the wards as the small group of undead are disintegrated and the black swarm dissipates.
"We need to find the stones," Brida says after this draining show of united power of the druids and the faithful of Chauntea ends. "Together I think we can reseal this evil," she adds brushing sweat from her brow and staggering back towards Aldaryn who catches her as she faints into his arms.
You see as others of Chauntea's faith and the druids drop to their knees and then onto their sides unconscious. The only two sanding from with brilliant barriage of good is Hilda and Vera both panting looking around them at their brothers and sisters of different but unopposed faiths. Could this mean both can exist together? Or has one simply been a cover, a smoke screen to obscure the other?
ATTENTION: I will be traveling for Thanksgiving ALL next week so I thought as a gift of thanks to everyone we'd take a break so starting Monday 20th thru Monday the 27th we will take a break. But during this week I would like everyone to compose what your character was doing for a 'weeks time' that will have passed in-game via the forum.
Ideas: Did you recruit people from the village? Did you practice a skill? Did you investigate Vera's hidden room of wonders? Do you request of her or maybe Hilda, the head cleric now, more blessings or help? If you make a convincing enough case for your time I might grant you another boon for the fight to come!

I want to know how dangerous the swamp is and how close the thing coming from the village is?
I want to know which is the larger threat?
perception check: 8
OOC: well my elf and druid skills blow! My rolls are horrible! HAHA!!!!
Andulra: You have no idea, it's just very menacing!
