Tegid asks around about Mallifax, one would assume that he's not the big kahoona.
OOC DM can answer any one of these (I don't expect an answer to all but these would be something asked) I'll also roll for investigation
Going around the town square/marketplace
1) is Mallifax local?
2) has anyone seen him with strangers not just shoppers?
3) why would girls go to Mallifax (seeing if he traps them or if he has thugs go and take them)
Investigation 8
Unfortunately no one is able to provide you with any information about Mallifax. Many merchants come and go with Androll being a port city, and the locals tend not to differentiate one from another. You do know that he was taken to the temple jail after his arrest. You wonder if perhaps you might get a chance to interrogate him at some point...
Nivlen will eagerly accept the deal for the Quickshot Bandolier and the hand crossbow.
(OOC: Nivlen already owns a hand crossbow but doesn’t mind having a backup for only 5gp more. Is the new one especially designed to work with the bandolier and should replace his current one?)
After exchanging the 30gp for the hand crossbow and bandolier, Nivlen thanks and then asks where he might go to procure 20 additional bolts and a halfling sized shield or buckler.
DMOOC: should work with any hand crossbow, but you can only use one crossbow with one bandoleer.
e.g. he can reload the right hand fast but not the left hand, or vice versa. If he does get the second bandoleer from the shopkeeper, he would be able to fire two shots for every one he could normally fire with each hand, provided he has offhand fighting capabilities(i also think you can fire a missile weapon with your off hand withour two handed fighting at disadvantage, but i have to look that up).
DMINC:
The shopkeeper directs you to the nearby fletcher, who offers to sell you 20 bolts for 15 GP. If you decide to visit the Apothecary He is willing to sell common healing potions for 40 gp (2d4+2 hp restored) each.
Nivlen will have to hold off on the purchase of either these bolts and/or healing potions until after a payday or two. Perhaps he can inquire at the temple barracks if there is a cheaper supplier of bolts and if they have a spare buckler or halfling sized shield they are willing to part with.
With that he will thank the shop keepers and make his way back to the barracks until closer to “feast time”. Just the thought of it sets his stomach to rumbling.
Nivlen will also be practicing the loading techniques obsessively during any down time he has, when he should have been resting. He is striving to make the actions fluid and second nature so that in the future during a panic moment, the muscle memory will kick in and he will be armed and loaded by instinct.
Elric will make his way into town looking for a weapons and armor merchant. He will be looking to sell both of his maces and his leather armor and also looking to buy studded leather and a long sword. He will haggle with both the selling price and buying price on everything.

Elric (based on those sweet rolls) manages to talk his way in to walking out of the last shop with 10 gold still in his pockets.
Ai'ryn will try to find an artificers shop, looking for items that will help protect against a green dragon.
Fortunately, due to the history of the town, almost every shop sells "anti-dragon" and "dragon-proof" merchandise of some sort. Unfortunately, most of it seems to be useless tourist souvenirs. One shop keeper, hearing your reason for looking for such an item, tells you that you should talk to the clerics in the temple, rumor has it that the weapon that Androll used to drive the dragon off during their battle is still stored in the temple's catacombs as a safeguard against the dragon's return.

one of the market purchasers approaches you on the docks, offering you 50 gold for the three crates of pork, but has no interest in the herring. He inquires if you have any knucklehead trout, he knows a scrimshander is in town from the north towns in Icewind Dale, and his supply of trout bones was stolen by a raiding band of goblins on his way to town. Unfortunately you do not have any on board.

The temple courtyard, dusk:
The sounds of music fill your ears, somehow a cacophony and pure beauty at the same time. Bards dance and sing merrily through the are, joining in to trios and quartets seemingly at will without missing a beat or a note. Children are eating treats from the vendors and playing games of tag, while many of the BlueBoys are enjoying the gambling booths and games of skill.
ALL of you begin to make your way into the area, heading to the feast in the temple proper.,Some are in small groups, some in pairs, and some by themselves. The feeling of acceptance and overwhelming sense of kinship amongst townsfolk and tourists is palpable. At one point, the three young girls that were saved at the gate running up to TlakShik and throw wreaths around their odd looking saviors head and neck, one landing comically around a single antenna. As you attempt to make your way through the crowd, several of you are dragged into a dance circle, and soon you are laughing and clapping along to the music. As the last song fades, a new one begins. It is a thumping, driving tune, and it seems to evoke a nearly cult like reaction from the towns folk. Illusionists spray colors and light over the four bards playing the tune on the main stage, dressed in strange outfits. The crowd seems to know the lyrics by heart, and they sing loudly with the band:
"Say you don't know me Or recognize my face Say you don't care who goes To that kind of place Knee deep in the hoopla Sinking in your fight Too many runaways Eating up the night...

As the music fades and changes to some kind of power ballad, the 14 of you (the barbarian is there as well, he would never pass up a free meal) proceed to the temple proper to have dinner and begin planning your anti dragon excursion. As you walk up the steps, the doors open in front of you as if by magic, and before you lies a beautiful dining room with tapestries and sconces adorning the walls. Set between tall stone pillars is a lengthy dining table, covered in a thick red tablecloth. Mool sits at the head of the table, and stands upon your entry waving you in and smiling cordially.
"Welcome! Please come in! Sit down, I hope you don't mind that the food's mostly the dwarven variety tonight, I've given the cooks the night off."
Laid out before you on the table is various roasts both meat and veggie, many odd sweet breads and custards, and a half keg of ale adorns the center of the table. The plates are laid out as if royalty was expected, all fine ceramic and silver gilded.
Any questions you attempt to ask during dinner about the dragon or other events of the day other than pleasantries, Mool will politety but firmly refuse to answer until dessert is over. None of you are sure if it's the feast or the music or the general sense of appreciation that Mool shows you, but all of you are now feeling as though you have had a short rest.
AFTER DINNER: Mool is now willing to offer up answers to any questions you may have.

Tlak-Shik will ask around for anyone who studies philosophy and plays dragonchess. If he finds some one, he will engage them in some friendly play and no-holds-barred philosophical battle on the concept of 'being'. One of his more curious questions concern whether or not the sparks in the night sky have 'being' and if so, how their 'being' relates to one such as his interlocutor and himself. Most of the towns folk have by now heard the tale of this morning's heroic rescue of the cleric's daughters, so some of the stigma you recieve from elves and humans has subsided, and though many people have trouble understanding the full extent of your psionic communication, one young spectacle wearing elven lady wearing her hair in a pony tail introduces herself as the town librarian quite clearly responding to your thoughts. She relates to you that she spent time in the deserts to the east when she was studying her craft, she specialized in the ecology of aggressive creatures and humanoids, including the Thri Kreen. She then realizes that you may find that offensive, and she quickly and nervously adds that she didn't mean to generalize about your species, she met several very honorable warriors amongst one group who had taught her how to understand the odd emotion driven language you use.
