Bob nearly tosses the ball of flame in his hand at one of the suits of armor when they come into view thinking it to be some kind of evil, wolf-faced knight about to slay them all. He takes a deep, relieved breath when they're revealed to simply be decorative suits of armor. He chuckles and walks up to the one that James is currently examining and knocks on the metal. "To think I almost got scared by a lifeless suit of armor. Pull yerself together, Bob!"
Dmitri still bringing up the rear of the party keeps an eye on the room they just ascended from. Dmitri laughs at Bob's comment. The brooding half-elf Warlock enjoying Bob's attempt to ease some humor into their situation. Dmitri finds himself drawn to the rather comical dwarven druid.
Dmitri says to the party, "To have all of our foes be so terrifying and dangerous would allow us to retire early to pampered lives indeed, comrades."
Bob'sfire launch lights the room up some more. The flames hit the armor and bounce off and dissipates. James looks inside the closest set of armor, finding nothing inside. Gillain's inspection of the armor tells her it was finely made but, has not seen battle. Ermren (not sure what you are referring to as the last door in the room?)
As cliche as it may be, the close inspection of the armor causes a small wave of energy to pass through the room.
Roll of Initiative as the 2 suits of Armor along the west wall animate and Attack: Armor Initiative: 3
The party, finding no source of the sound nor anyone willing to take a dumbwaiter ride alone, makes their way to the stairs and up to the next floor. As you get to the stairs you see the last door in the downstairs area that you haven't been through.
(Might be simpler to just roll everyone’s initiative for them and move right into some group turn orders. James might act differently based on what’s happened before him)

I thought about that and I decided to leave it up for a few after everyone posts to allow a change if need be. I would rather players roll their own initiative. It keeps everyone a part of the game and keeps character actions in the player's control, keeping myself as the narrator of the game.
Gillain will move to engage the nearest animated construct. She will move into melee, but on its far side (so she is between the two moving constructs, and between the furthest one and her friends). She will attack twice with her spear...
Dmitri still at the rear of the party, starts as the farther suits of armor become animated and move to attack his companions. Dmitri cries out to alert the others, "Beware comrades! The armor attacks!"
Dmitri clutches the obsidian raven feather amulet given to him by his patron. As he does so his hair and clothing is buffeted as if by a fey wild wind. The smell of ozone before a lightning strike hangs heavy in the air surrounding his person. He reaches out his hand towards a suit of armor approaching the party.
Action - Casts Eldritch Blast at one of the two suits, which ever is most likely to close with someone other then Gillain or himself.
Spell Attack: 16, Damage: 5
Move - After his spell, Dmitri moves to the forefront to shield his companions.
Ermren plants himself firmly at the top of the stairs and raises his staff, the air around him chills suddenly before a lance of blue-white light strikes out at the furthest suit of armor.
ray of frost: Attack: 11 Damage: 5 (on hit, reduce speed by 10 feet)
Bob scampers back from the suddenly animate object he had just been knocking on, arms flailing as he prepares to conjure another ball of flame. But seeing his friends arming themselves gave him a surge of bravery he hadn't felt for many, many years and he remembered how his wayward flame had simply bounced off of one of the suits of armor's breastplate. He glares at the nearest suit of armor and draws the slender scimitar from its scabbard, hefting his shield in his other hand.
"Oi! Metalhead! Care ta test your metal against mine? Ha! Geddit? Oh, nevermind,"he says with a grunt as he swings his scimitar at the suit of armor.

As everyone reaches the floor with the suits of armor, Gillain moves over to inspect them too.
((OOC: Are they serviceable suits of armor, that we could use? Or are they purely decorative? Are they full plate armor?))
