The secret door stands open and the party travels through it, making its way up the stairs to the next floor of this dark home. The stairs, a 5 ft. wide-area travels south for 5 ft. to another landing the turns east and travels 5 ft. to the top of the stairs. The top of the stairs opens into a dust-covered and darkroom covered with cobwebs. The cobwebs are so thick here you must use a weapon to part them and as you do the cobwebs make a slight tearing sound like linen cloth being torn apart.
The party finds themselves standing in a 20 ft. wide x 10 ft. long room with a small extended hall in the northeast corner of this room that goes 5 ft. further.
The party takes in their surroundings. The room is empty with several doors to choose from.
Directly across from the stairs, in the southeast corner of this room stands a door: Door #1
There is are 2 doors along the east wall of its room. The first is approximately 8 ft. from the stair entrance: Door #2, and the second is in the extended hall of the room, in the northeast corner: Door #3.
In the northwest corner of this main room, approximately 20 ft. from the stair entrance is the last door: Door #4.
The air is stale up here. The only sounds you hear are the creaking of your armor, shifting of the party, and that of your own breath, and heartbeat.
Ermren would promptly walk up to the door straight up the stairs and open in, moving back as he does so and waiting a moment before looking in. He's impatient, not stupid.
Bob frowns in annoyance at the cobwebs more than fear or discomfort, using the flame in his palm to burn away the wispy strands that tried to cling to his already quite dirty beard. He'd be spending hours cleaning, oiling and brushing his blonde beard when he got the chance!
"I say we open the door straight ahea-" and even as he's saying it Ermren is already stomping impatiently across the dingy room to open said door.
Gillain can’t help but chuckle to herself, at the antics of the dwarfs... in spite of the creepy setting! But she’s certainly glad to have more support up front.
She smiles at Tio, beside her, nods, and then heads in after the two dwarfs, to face whatever they find in the room behind door #1.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Tio will nod back gracefully following Gillian. In front of James leaving him in lat to enter “If you need assistance just Stick to me mister James.” When they enter Tio will scan the area.

The door opens easily enough. The door opens to a similar scene you have viewed throughout the house. A room covered in dust and thick cobwebs. Again you must tear through these hanging collection of dusty threads to enter the room. The entrance to the room is a small 5 ft. x 5 ft. area. The room itself 15 ft. x 15 ft. with a small 5 ft. x 10 ft. alcove along the west wall of the room.
As you enter you believe this to be a spare bedroom. Straight in front of you, the party sees a writing desk along the north wall of the room, with a stool resting in front of it, slightly pulled away from the table.
In the northwest corner of the 5 ft. x 10 ft. alcove, sits a rocking chair. To the left of the rocking chair are a cushioned bench and a small window on the north wall of the alcove. Behind the rocking chair, you see a dust-covered stained glass window. The images inside the window can not be made out from where you are standing. In the southwest corner of the alcove stands a wardrobe.
Into the room, you see a bed with the headboard resting against the east wall of the room. The bed extending west, 8 feet into the room. To the right of the bed stands a small night stance.
Along the south wall of this room, about the middle of the southern wall, stands a black cast iron stove with a stovepipe chimney.
As the party enters the room, looking around they notice sitting on the cushioned bench in the alcove a small, yellow dressed doll, cobwebs draping it like a wedding veil.
(bit sleepy..if this does not make sense, I'll repost later today. :P)
Gillain looks around the room as the door opens. It looks like there’s no immediate threat in the room, so she stows her spear and takes a closer look around.
Initially, she walks across to the dusty stained glass window. She takes her hand and gently brushes some of the dust and cobwebs away, to reveal the coloured glass beneath, and try to get a better look at the patterns and pictures depicted there...
Bob shrugs at Ermren and toddles into the room after the others, calling over his shoulder, "G'wan if ye think ye can, brother!" Whistling innocently he wanders over to the stove. He examines it to see if it had been used recently but wasn't expecting to find anything; thus far the abandoned house had seemed utterly devoid of anything resembling life for a long while.
When he reaches the doll he stops his whistling and frowns at it as he picks it up. He brushes the dust and cobwebs off as he looks at it more closely.
Before leaving the hallway, and entering the spare bedroom to wipe the stained glass window, Gillain will quickly turn back to Ermren and say, “Good plan, maybe give it a go with this...”. And she loans him her crowbar from her pack.
Ermren forces the door open easily. With a pop and some splintering of the wooden frame the door opens.
This room contains a bricked-up window flanked by two dusty, wood-framed beds, child-sized. Closer to the door is a wooden toy chest with windmills painted on the side and a dollhouse. The dollhouse, you realize, is a perfect replica of the very house you are standing in. These furnishings are trapped with dust and the thick cobwebs you have found throughout the house.
What catches your eye the most is the skeletal remains lying in the middle of the room. They are child-sized and draped in clothing that has rotted a bit. One skeleton is larger than the other, only by a few inches, and is cradling the smaller one in its arms. In the arms of the smaller one, you see a small stuffed toy. it too has seen better days.
The door opens to a 15 ft. by 15 ft. room.
Along the east wall of the room is a bricked-up window. In the northeast and southeast corner of the room are two beds. Both beds have their headboards resting along the east wall and extend into the room approximately 6 ft.
To the right of the door, approximately 5 ft. into the room, stands an old toy chest. To the left of the door, approximately 5 ft. into the room stands a 4ft. tall dollhouse.
Approximately 8 ft, into the room, in the middle of the room, are the skeletal remains. The remains are wearing tattered clothing and covered in dust, with a thick layer of cobwebs draped over them.
Not finding anything of use Tio will join the others to the children's room, seeing the state of the room. "Perhaps a proper burial could help put their souls to rest. Gillain what do you think?"
