Alden raises a brow and sighs as he moves to grab his ale so that it is not knocked down from the bar. He simply leans back and watches the fight, not wanting to get involved if it is possible. "Dinner and a show. Now this is a great...."
Threestrings is frozen, he stutters “But Aimee... th.. they might take offence. Th..These are not people you want to get on the wrong side of.” He seems unsure, eager to please his fans (and friends), but also scared.

Dneevar sighs as he sees yet another fight break out. Can't people ever stop fighting? he thinks to himself as the brawl continues on. He takes another swig of his mulled wine before deciding he's had enough. "Can you break it up?" he shouts toward the half-orc and the man with the eye tattoos as he slams down his glass. "At the very least take it somewhere else? We're all trying to have a good time here and starting a brawl won't help." (Persuasion: 3)
Clearly drowned out by the crowd, Dneevar huffs and returns to contemplative thought, trying his best to ignore the fight.
"That girl was nice change of pace from the... erm... unusual stylings of the featured performer." As Rose pays for her meal, Trani blushes. "No need for ya to do that... I can pay..." And then as the scuffle breaks out she sighs heavily. "It's an occupational hazard of hanging out in taverns, I'm afraid. Wanna make a bet on which side comes out ahead in the end?"
“Well, alright then, just for you...” Threestrings plays his song, but tries to keep his eye on the brawl.
At the bar Bonnie looks flustered “We‘ve got to stop this, Durnan, Durnan!” She runs off in search of her boss.
Trani and Rose manage to find a spot where they can see the fight, just in time to witness the half-orc smashing the tattoed mans bald head against the side of the well, knocking him out cold. As she stands over his body, she is tackled to the floor by his companions.
A booming voice fills the tavern “Out!” The four men turn to see Durnan, giving then a stern look and pointing at the door. The men scramble to pick up their friends lifeless body and are out in a flash. Leaving the half orc sprawled out on the floor, unconcious.
"Oi, I'm just lucky I think. And horses scare me, they're so big!" She feels awkward taking more from Rose, but it was a fair bet, and she slips the dragon into her purse. To make up for all of the kindness, she presents Rose with the repaired (and upgraded) music box.

As Trani and Rose head back to their table, and threestrings finishes his song, the room erupts into panic as screams and shouts of alarm accompany a thudding coming from the well.
A hulking creature climbs up out of the shaft in the middle of the taproom — a monster with warty green skin, a tangled nest of wiry black hair, a long, carrot-shaped nose, and bloodshot eyes. As it bares its yellow teeth and howls, you can see that a half-dozen bat-like creatures are attached to its body, with three more circling above it like flies. Everyone in the tavern reacts in fear except for the barkeep, Durnan, who shouts, “Troll!”
Alden lets out a sigh and then a downs the rest of his drink as he hoists up his shield and unsheathes his sword. With little thought as his training kicks in, he runs forward and puts his shield up in front of the woman he had been paid to check up on. "Not to interrupt ladies but if you do not have a weapon or spells to call on I think you should step back." As he finishes speaking he starts to slam his sword hand against his shield, stepping to the side slowly to draw its attention. "Over here you ugly beast!"

"I'm more capable than ya might think," Trani quips as she pulls a dagger out from somewhere in her robes. She starts humming softly to herself, watching the troll intently.

Dneevar, as part of the city watch, wouldn't have stepped in to intervene during a tavern brawl. However, as he hears the commotion of the crowd even after the brawl, he wonders what could be the problem now. As Durnan shouts "Troll!", he immediately, instinctively jumps up to his feet. Normally Dneevar wouldn't intervene during a tavern brawl. But when an even bigger threat is on the line, as a citizen, he feels inclined to deal with the threat. "Die, foul beast," Dneevar snarls in Draconic as he draws his dagger and prepares to approach the troll climbing out of the well.
Aimee may have read about these creatures, but she definitely couldn’t recognise them right now, in all this panic.
Threestrings, in a panic, rushes to put his lute away, wincing slightly as he cuts himself on a frayed piece of string. ”Aimee, we are in serious danger, this isn’t like the bar fight - we need to run!”
The troll crawls out of the shaft, and stands on the lip of the well, making it’s already towering 9ft body even more imposing. It glares at Alden as he taunts him, licking it’s lips with a blackened tongue, before noticing Dnee charging towards it. It braces itself, ready to lunge at Dnee.
The three bat-like creatures sniff the air with their long, needle like snouts. They look directly at threestrings and dart towards him. The six that were attached to the troll fly back down the well, bloated.

Alden will move forward towards the troll and raise his shield before reaching his sword and slashing towards it with his blade. Once he is close enough he will swing.

Trani lets loose with a well-practiced string of insults that would certainly have caused her father and mother to be shocked if they heard the language. Toward Aden she cries out, "may fate guide ya sword" in a tone that has a strange magically musical quality.
