Qinfaren looks at the still trunk and then rubs his hands together quickly before placing them on the mistletoe on his staff. A puff of cold air appears and then a slim knife-like shard of ice forms in Qinfaren's hand. He flips it quickly at the trunk.

Poor weasel, Qinfaren thinks to himself as the trunk cuts the animal in half. However, unlike a 'real' weasel, this one disappears after being cut in half. Qinfaren takes solace in that as he might get to see it again in the future.
Remembering that getting anywhere close to the trunk could get you stuck to it, he decides to stick with produce flame and lobs another more of fire at the trunk.
"Good work." he says to the animal then helps it get unstuck from the trunk. "Squeak loudly if you see anyone coming in."
Qinfaren pushes the trunk into one corner, looking inside as he does, just to see if it's all mouth or if there's anything in there. He then decides it's probably not a good idea to leave the body in the elevator room and goes quickly there and retrieves it, bringing it back into this room, and if the trunk has room, puts the body inside it.
After that, and if Bàn hasn't already done so, he quickly searches the Sunblight son's room for anything of interest.
"Does the door lock?" he asks Bjorn as he searches through the room.
If the sticky tongue monster is indeed unstickyfied now, Bàn retrieves his weapons and gives it a good kick. His first thing after that would be to check the door to ensure that it does lock. If it doesn't they'll likely want to find a different room to try to rest in as there is no telling if this is even the dead guys room or if he was here for his own shady reasons... If the door locks then he'll agree the bodies should all be left in one place and help Qinfaren fetch the other...

Once back in the room with Nildar, Qinfaren locks the door and offers to take the first watch.
"Wonder why the broach was under the bed?" Qinfaren muses.
He examines it to see if there's anything special about it besides being gold.
