After waiting anxiously for anything behind the door to jump out at them, Mal'thrae moves ahead once more, scanning for any dangers while being relatively silent.
(Can I keep the same stealth roll from before?)
Sure, since there was no one to hide from on the way here.
You enter a square shaped passage made from stone and crystal of the caves, carved to look like bricks. Everyone hears the same voice from the entrance;
"You have reached the Temple of Trials. At the end of this temple is a pendant true. No one has ever made it, either they turn into one of us before they reach it, or their the next sacrifice. *Maniacal laughter*"
Continuing down the passage, there is nobody there, but while walking, three giant axes start swinging down the pathway (to cross them, make 3 DC10 athletics saves to avoid them. If you fail a save, you take 1d10 damage per axe)
As you continue through, you hear a whispered voice, and it only grows louder as you progress through the passage. What it is saying is indistinct.
Everyone:
You continue through the passage, but it ends at a locked door with four totems of a dragon around it, each with a different expression; the first has none, the second is angry, the third sad, the last shocked. A sign sits to your right, saying in elvish script;
Stand in front of a totem, three are shocking traps, the last will open the door. Keep strong, the pendant is close!
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gorokum shakes his head.
"I hear nothing. But then you are the only one with any elven blood among us," he adds. "Could this be a corrupted part of the Feywild? "
He then turns to the symbols and the sign that Mal has translated for them.
"It is not much to go on if it is a riddle."
Looking at them more closely, he then looks down to examine the floor in front of each of the symbols, looking to see if there is anything different, perhaps more wear and tear on some of the stones, or something that shows where the shock may come from.
(The sign is in elvish, the whispers are something else.)
Thoradin scratched his beard, puzzled. "If the sign is true and three of these are traps, then maybe the one without any expression is the safe one? But who puts a truthful sign in front of their own traps? Maybe it's made to trick us. Anyone have any ideas?"
Sure, since there was no one to hide from on the way here.
Basina stands looking through the door after Mal for awhile, then she will start moving in to the next room.
Basina Fairfoot- Halfling paladin
Shadow through the forest (Shadow) - Tabaxi Ranger (beastmaster)
Jadyn quietly drifts after the party, staying towards the back, and watching for danger.
Perception: 16
Alton Thorngage- (Klein’s One Shot String Adventure)
Holden Stonefist-(A Tale of Mercenaries)
Fenrick Wolfsbane- (Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden)
DMing-Ctleath13’s Lost Mines of Phandelver and Ctleath13’s Out of the Abyss
Gorokum enters along with Jadyn, longsword in one hand and staff in the other.
Mal keeps moving along the passage from cover to cover until he spots something or someone.
Simen follows the group, guarding the rear.
Olloray Dim - Limbo's Pit
Gunther Korroden - Nightmares in the Mist

First save: 7
Second save: 16
Third save: 19
Damage for two axes: 1 and 9
After the slashes Simen heals himself using second wind: 5
(Could i also use Acrobatics instead of Athletics?)
Olloray Dim - Limbo's Pit
Gunther Korroden - Nightmares in the Mist
(Very likely, acro is mostly for dodging stuff, although a DEX save would also make sense here)
Mal, 3 acro checks: 16 23 7
(If the answer is no, and you *do* need 3 athletics checks): 16 3 4 10
(Ignore the 3, idk how that extra roll got there. Either way, hit once. Damage from axe: 7)
Jadyn Saves: 19 19 3
Axe Damage: 8
Alton Thorngage- (Klein’s One Shot String Adventure)
Holden Stonefist-(A Tale of Mercenaries)
Fenrick Wolfsbane- (Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden)
DMing-Ctleath13’s Lost Mines of Phandelver and Ctleath13’s Out of the Abyss
Gorokum 1st Athletics Checke: 27
2nd: 14
3rd: 25
After getting past the axes, Gorokum looks up at the ceiling to determine how much time they have remaining.
There are no crystals inside these caverns, (make a perception/investigation check, your choice)
Yes, I'll allow Acrobatics
Save 1: 7
Save 2: 15
Save 3: 15
Basina tries to dodge the axes but one of them hits her.
Damage: 10
Basina Fairfoot- Halfling paladin
Shadow through the forest (Shadow) - Tabaxi Ranger (beastmaster)
I‘ll „heal“ the 5 damsge from the first axe then. (Using acrobatics gives me +2 to each if the results, bumping it up to a 10)
Olloray Dim - Limbo's Pit
Gunther Korroden - Nightmares in the Mist
Gorokum: Investigation Check: 9
Athletics 1: 18
Athletics 2: 8
Athletics 3: 14
Damage: 7

Mal'thrae, being part elf, translates the sign for the group. He also says: "Some voice whispering... can't quite make it out. You guys hear it?"
