Faustus thanks Weldric but declines the offer of coin. He begins talking with passerbys but doesn’t seem to be getting anywhere. He thanks Celsior for the invite but tries his luck with a few more pedestrians. After watching the gang enter the tavern and failing miserably outside, Faustus decides to rejoin the group inside the tavern.
Seeing the group spread out, he will make his way to the bulletin board.
"Titan fish, sounds exciting, I'll take one order," he says, thumbing through the book for information about the city, particularly about the statue at the gate.
"Hey, friend, you are here!" Garumehr says when Faustus enters. "My name's Garumehr, by the way, and look at this!" He shows him the map and how you can push a button to translate it into any language. "Isn't this incredible?"

You find a short myth entailing the statue, half-play, half-story
The Goliath of Anazarth (Myth)
Long ago two human brother-kings ruled over an unknown region, One named Zoryyth, the other Aruon. Zoryyth was war-like and cruel, while Aruon was generous and kind. One day Aruon visited Zoryyth in the temple of Yorthe.
Aruon: Brother, why art thou so cruel? Twas only today when I saw thine take food from the poor.
Zoryyth: Thy family in question pay not their taxes, brother, I gave them a befitting punishment.
Aruon: Thy be poor, thy not be able to pay taxes.
Zoryyth: A crime tis a crime, twhether rich or poor.
Aruon: If a crime tis a crime, twhether rich or poor, why do thou not pay thine taxes?
Zoryyth: Brother, thine have worked too hard in past days, sit.
Zoryyth sits his brother down and pours him a cup of Wine (secretly poisoning it).
Zoryyth: Here brother, drink this.
Aruon begins to drink the wine but spits it out suddenly.
Aruon: Poison! You fiend! Your no brother of mine!
Auron falls onto the floor, dead.
Zoryyth: You didn’t have to die, brother, Sigh…, if only thy saw the same way.
A statue sprouts out of the dead brother, enlivened by the gods. The statue then steps on the evil-doer.
Zoryyth: AAAAAAAAAAAH! NO!
And to this day, the statue stands guard against evil forces.
"Whoa there," Says the person, "Dont start shootin' the place up. The names Bill. Calamity Bill."
“Well then, Calamity Bill. I’m kind of already in a group, it seems. But we need a job. What are you wanting?”

Faustus will then weave his way through the tavern to hopefully be able to read the posted notices.

Garumehr consults the map to see if there are any names on it that are similar to Zoryyth and Auron. If there's anything on the map that looks like a magnifying glass, he tries to use it as a search function.

"The bartender showed me," Garumehr says to Weldric. "I'm a monk from the mountains, I have no idea either. There's also this book," he says holding up the book he also received. "That statue thing at the gate is supposed to be some sort of protector from the spirit of a dead prince or something," and he relays the myth to Weldric and any of the other adventurers from the boat. "I'm no savant, but something tells me that we're going to stumble across the names Zoryyth and Aruon again, and I wonder if there's something about this city in general. I might not want to stay in the Zoryyth Inn, say, but the Aruon Lodge may be a better place to spend a few nights to acclimatize to this place."

"Geeez, everything is named after these guys, I think..." Garumehr says aloud, and turns back to the book to see if there's anything written about the local economy, or finding work in Anazarth.

Rolling out of the dragonborn's arms and onto the floor before jolting awake and standing up, Bryttin squints as she looks around the tavern. Confused, she looks at the two dragonborn, "I thought we were looking for an adventure...?" She then begins to look around for any figures that look like they might want to hire a group of adventurers.
Investigation: 14
(OOC: LMK if you need a different check)
You find Black-scaled Dragonborn offering jobs for adventurers. They want the group to help their uncle retrieve a priceless family heirloom.
Bryttin approaches the dragonborn... poking him with her cane, she is a bit stunned and mumbles, "Another dragon...? Goodness me!" Putting her cane down she looks up at him and asks, "What exactly is it that you want us to do?"
