Roy is quiet to An-Ran's statement about not smoking but when he sees the fear of the impending crash come across An-Ran's face, Roy mirrors it for a moment then says:
Luckily the dragonborns flying was good enough to hit the pod piloted by An-Ran and knock them away from an incoming plasma burst. 3 Small spacecraft were pursuing all the escape pods, and they’ve already crippled, destroyed, or killed the inhabitants of 5 pods. They release a few more plasma bursts, one of which scorched An-Rans pod, but thankfully didn’t explode it. The fighters then suddenly break off in pursuit of the mothership, with the now extremely visible Orcish warship releasing it from its grasp. The escapees can only watch as the scientists and their ship are blown apart by plasma bursts and a giant rail gun, not being as lucky as the 31 out of the original 60 chosen who lived.
The distant planet enlarged as pods began entry. Everyone has split up except for your three pods, that look to be heading for a large island. The flaps fold out and stabilize the pod, followed by partial upwards thrust so the pods land on their stomachs instead of their cockpits. However in the distance metal is seen, it was a city. In the pastures of a farm the 2 skillfully piloted pods land on softer farm land, while Roy and An-Rans crashes straight into a barn of some kind.

Hondo nicely lands his pod on the grass. “Good thing I took that pilots course during summer training.” He gets up and motions to Fallin, “Come on, one of the pods crashes into the barn. We got to make sure they are alive.”
Fallin can't help but watch in horror as the orc ships destroy the mothership they had just escaped from. He instinctively ducks as he and Hondo descend in their escape pod towards the island, only fully feeling safe as they come to a full stop on the farmland.
He looks around for a few moments before sighing. "Well that was an adventure," he says to no one in particular. "What do we do now?"
When Hondo answers his question, Fallin unstraps himself and exits the pod, taking another look around at the scenery before heading over to the barn.
// I need An-Ran and Roy to give a constitution check DC-15 to not take 1d8 damage from crashing into the barn

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The scorching plasma beam scrapes along the hull leaves the pod’s thermal detectors blaring and scintillating, An-Ran pulls down the emergency lever in a last-ditch attempt to pull the ship back in control, as they brace for impact and crash into the barn. With the noisy roaring and bumping that finally comes to a stop, An-Ran manages to undo the safety straps and pull himself out of the seat.
"Scans indicate the planet is suitable for excursion - Cipher, check on the others that landed, and let me know if they require medical assistance. Speak with them, and learn their intentions if you can. We do not know this world, and it may behoove us to remain grouped for the foreseeable future. I will try to recover supplies from this vessel."
Deftly unstrapping himself, he lumbers across the vessel and begins ripping loose the packaged foodstuffs and supplies from the various cubbies and enclosed units within the escape pod. He is especially vigilant for medical supplies and antibiotics, should the local micro-fauna prove inimical to any of the survivors.

Cipher nods and leaves the shuttle to go and look for the others. One shuttle seemed fine and had landed near them. The other... not so much. She makes her way over to the shuttle that had crashed to see if the occupants need any help.

At the end of the rough landing, Roy will come stumbling out of the pod with his gear. If it is safe he will go about 25 ft., fall onto his back and take a few deep breaths.

An-Ran staggers out of the pod, smelling gas, smoke, and sizzling sound of electricity, he’s gonna sit down beside Roy, catching his breath, he brushes back his hair and nudges him. “Now would be a good time for a smoke.” He teases.
Fallin sighs with relief as he sees An-Ran and Roy stumble out of the crashed pod. "Thank the gods you all are alive," he directs to the congregated group. "I'm guessing we'll all have to stick together, while we try to find everyone else and report back."
(Can Fallin try to salvage some parts of Roy and An-Ran's escape pod?)
Firenze is the only one to hear a desperate distress signal on all frequencies. It has a limited amount of static to it, but this is all that could be discerned from the message.“This is pod- I repeat pod 17! We are und— attack! Po- 5 and 9 are def-ing against the O-! We ar- ending our coordinates no-! Please assist, I repeat, please ass—“And just there the transmission shut off. The console beeped aggressively with a slightly damaged HUD on the front glass displaying the coordinates. They seemed to be geographically west from your location, and close enough that if you focused you could hear laser blasts in the distance.

// Yeah but parts are heavy. You can’t take much without having to move a lot slower and/or have the party take some of the load.
