"I'm not sure I know you well enough to answer that, Thallan" says The Piper as he enters the room. He checks to make sure the door is wedged open and will not close behind them. He then has a good look around the room and inspects the plinth and niches.

Bryn will invesitgate the room for anything that looks of interest and isn't rotting/crumbling. If he finds nothing, he will head outside till the others are ready.

Having explored the ruined shrine the party trudge through the snow back to the road and continue their journey. As they are making their way along the road the clouds sitting on top of the Spine of the World get darker and darker. Soon they find themselves brushing snow flakes of their clothes as they trudge along. the snow gets heavier and heavier and they soon find themselves in a full scale blizard.

As flakes had begun to fall, Thallan all but cheered at their appearance. He spoke brightly about snow and its beauty. However, as the flurries gradually turned into a blizzard, his disposition had turned to worry. "Should we find some shelter?" he asked the others.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As the snow starts to get heavier both Thallander and The Piper simultaneously reach the conclusion that seeking shelter would be a good idea. Reflecting his carefree nature Brynn seems less concerned - whether he should be is a very different matter. (OOC: This should have been a Survival roll not a perception roll. Furthermore as neither Thallander or The Piper are experienced in extreme winter weather all checks are done at disadvantage plus the -4 for the blizzard like conditions. I'm keeping the original rolls of '12' for Thallander & '17' for The Piper)
The results of their search for shelter are therefore as follows: Thallander: 12+2-4 = 10 / 6 The Piper: 17+3-4 = 16 7
I had set a DC15 for the party members to find suitable shelter and The Piper manages to find a fallen tree that the party can set their backs against and get out of the worst of the blizzard. Eventually the blizzard passes and the party is able to continue but the heavy snow on the road makes for slow going. They keep going until close on sunset before setting up camp - such as it is since they've got no tents - for the night.
The next morning all the party members feel as if they are being suffocated - all please make a Constitution saving throw!
Bryn will start humming a tune, summoning a spectral hand that he uses to help dig himself out. Once clear, he will try to his companions if they are not already free.

Trying to keep his head, Thallan works to dig himself out from the inside.

If he gets out, he'll then work to help the others. If he doesn't know where they are, he'll call out. If he doesn't get a verbal response, he'll start using message to try to locate them by aiming the spell at various spots until he gets a response.

As Thallan manages to dig himself out of the snow he sees a spectral hand shovelling snow. Not long afterwards Brynn emerges and shakes the remaining snow off himself. There is no sign of The Piper - not even a mound. Thallan tries to communicate via Message with their colleague and eventually manages to locate him.
The Piper had woken to find himself buried so deeply in the snow he could not tell which way was up and so {1 = Up, 2 = Left, 3 = Right, 4 = Down} started digging {3} fortunately upwards. Eventually he to surfaced.
Thallan helps the Piper finish his journey to the surface and finally starts to smile once again with everyone accounted for. He puts his hands on his hips and gazes around at the mounds of snow. "Wow, what a sight!" he says brightly. "It might be a good idea to invest in some tents once we have some gold in our pockets," he continues. "We're lucky we didn't soffocate," he finishes, sounding much more excited about the prospect than he probably ought. He stomps around in the stow, trying to get used to the new depth.
The Piper thanks the others profusely for their assistance - between strings of profanity - then agrees with Thallan. "We need to get some more proper equipment, or perhaps look out for more appropriate lodgings as we near nightfall". Compared with the others he is positively spritely on the snow covered road. "I love these boots," he says.
