Katharine utters an incantation under her breath, words that are most foul to those who choose to serve good deities. She then gestures with her hands to trace a circle on the floor. A red glow appears around her feet exactly where she traced. Then she gestures to the other side of the wall before ending the incantation.
Suddenly, a creature appears on the other side of the wall of force on top of one of the glyphs. The creature looks similar to that of an orange gorilla. Except it has a blue face with two large tusks protruding from its bottom jaw. It is a Barlgura.
The barlgura materialises on the glyph. Suddenly a burst of blue energy erupts from the glyph striking the creature. The barlgura pulls a face of agony before falling over dead. It then disappears.

The tiefling bard lets out a low whistle, "Well ain't that just a sight." He briefly puts a hand on Katharine's shoulder, "Very nice." Nephris then waits to see if any reaction comes from the glyphs.

The tiefling bard lets out a low whistle, "Well ain't that just a sight." He briefly puts a hand on Katharine's shoulder, "Very nice." Nephris then clicks his tongue in disappointment as the glyphs erupt. "Well, it would seem the way forward is blocked for the time being, friends. Unless anyone has any other ideas? Sorry to waste such a wonderful spell, Katharine. Shall we head back upstairs?" Nephris gestures to the stairs.
Katharine places a hand on Nephri's shoulder, "I too thought that coming here was the best idea. However, it seems that we must first face Dresden. Unless we think we can avoid the glyphs?"
How big is the area on the far side of the force wall? I have an idea, but need to know what size of area we are talking about. Need length, width, and height. If it is not a large area though my idea won't work, so if you say a small closet, then never mind.
You've got an area that is ten feet long and five feet wide and is twenty feet high between the glyphs and wall. Including the area with the glyphs, you have another five feet by feet by twenty feet area each.

So, would I have any way to lay down a wall of stone in any way in this room to cover the runes and allow us to pass over them without danger? I would guess not, but it is my only real option, druids are not meant really for dealing with force walls. Can't someone just try to dispel the force wall, it is magic after all, so should be able to be dispelled... Someone likely tried that already though.
(Wall of force cannot just be dispelled. Wall of stone can be used to build bridges and it creates ten stone panels each of size 10 feet by 10 feet, and it can be of any shape as long as each panel is contiguous with one other panel. It also needs solidly supported existing stone, being underground, the walls are stone. So yes you could build a bridge.)

You decide to continue on up through the tower having investigated the first few floors already. You leave the guest quarters behind where you encountered the ghosts of servants. You pass through the entryway where you fire elementals and stone golems. You pass through the library where you had to solve the riddles of Christmas ghosts. Finally, you arrive in the laboratory where you first decided to descend the tower.
You head over to the office with the note on the wall and potions on the desk.
Reading the note again you see the words,
"If you wish to escape this level, you must drink one of these potions. One of them is a potion of gaseous form which will allow you to slip through one of the two doors. The others are all deadly poisons. Choose wisely!"
Katharine nods her head, "Very well."

(@TheBritGeek Do they cover all of the floor?)
(There's possibly some room, but not much.)

‘Back the way we came then?” Cade says with a shrug.
You climb back up the ladder and arrive back in the room that was once hidden and sealed with magic

"Sounds like we continue up the tower" Best begins to go up the stairs again.
Lot's of stuff ...
Cade follows on upward.

"Why worry with the potion?" Nephris chuckles, "When our friend can simply do it himself."
Cade moves to one of the doors and attempts to go through in air elemental form.
Cade moves to the door and passes through in air elemental form. On the other side of the door, cade finds a lever.
