Kane hears the words and knows she is the real deal. He slowly walks back to her and embraces her, running his hand through her hazel hair and tears rolling down his face. “I thought...I thought I lost you.”
"Well then. You need to have more faith," her voice softens, "Don't die anytime soon. The Afterlife isn't a nice place."
He sniffles. “I don’t plan to...”He looks at her. “We did what you asked. We cremated your body and spread the ashes. I also saw Aethra. She has passed on as well. I’m sorry.”
"Well I'll have to remedy that. Go back to the tavern," insists Stephany, a wicked glow coming into her eyes, "I have unfinished business with my dear old brother. I'll go there when it's over." She waves her hand and the three of you (if you're willing) appear in the tavern.
"I have one more question," Aliniá says. "What was in that sarcophagus?"
A laugh. "The founder of my family. I think that he has more power than me, even after I consumed a god - be glad you didn't wake him. Now go!" She does the wavey hand thing again.
