Well, if we are going to go back down we might as well do it gracefully. Oh! I just got a great idea! I should find a magic that lets people fly! I can almost imagine it but... Maybe I just need to sleep on it...
Malakadin couldn't hold back a boisterous goliath sized laugh, but he quickly sucked it in knowing it could give away their position. "Trust me when I say, being tall isn't always the best"
Ramón is still up I believe. In the interest of moving forward 21
Let's say gets down equally quick. If he needs to do anything we can Retcon that he did it in the next few posts.
You're all back in the room with the Wolves who are still friendly though growing cooler with the passage of time. Out the door to this room is the path that heads north along the stream up into the cave system or south back out of the cave. The sound of water is noticeably louder again likely covering you movement sounds. (Advantage on Stealth checks as needed).
Malakadin will help gather supplies for the fire as quickly as they can, and then will watch at the entryway of the cave to make sure they are uninterrupted until the fire is finished.
OOC: Since nothing seems to be happening (I assume we all have busy lives during the holiday season) I'm going to see what I can do to push things forwards a bit!
Sol will move up to the tunnel path past the wolves cave and try to quietly move forwards motioning for the others to follow and keeping an eye out for any goblins that may have posted up as a sentry.
"If you guys see something I don't, please stop me!"
As Sol moves forward, the main passage from the cave mouth climbs steeply upward, the stream plunging and splashing down its west side. In the shadows, a side passage leads west across the other side of the stream.
In the shadows of the ceiling to the north, you can just make out the dim shape of a rickety bridge of wood and rope crossing over the passage ahead of you. Another passage intersects this one, twenty feet above the floor.
"Aye, let's check this place out! And perhaps, if Bane's will is strong enough, we will rid this place of the infestation that has taken hold here and save Gundren in the process."
The side passage is a steep gravel incline. Anyone weighing more than 100 pounds climbing up roll a dex check. DC10. On failure you slide back down and take 2d6 bludgeoning damage.
OOC: Superhero landing!

Malakadin chuckles, "Sleeping while flying sounds dangerous" he cocks an eyebrow at the diminutive sorcerer
"I think he wants to fly so he can be taller than everyone else for once!"

OOC: Are we all down? If so, Grol starts gathering wood for the fire under the chimney.

"Hurry with that fire, we need to get moving!"

OOC: Should we free the wolve before they lose love for us?
Grol yanks the ropes loose from their holdings, then sets the sizeable pyre in the chimney alight.
OOC: I am all for moving forward

OOC: Explore the side passage?
Grol thinks exploring the side passage is a good idea.
“It seems our way is clear. Shall we proceed?”

OOC: Eldon is is a gnome so way less that 100 pounds. Does the stream cause enough noise for us not to be heard, or do we need a Stealth check?
Eldon takes the lead and begins to climb the incline, trying to not make too much noise.
I will go ahead and see if I can repeat the rope trick which Grol did with the chimney. I really really want to learn some flying magic though.
Stealth:4
The water is loud enough to cover normal movement.
Eldon will look for somewhere to attach a rope when he reaches the top.
