Malakadin's longsword swings down and everyone feels the vibrations as it connects with Hobgoblin 1's own long sword. Both lock eyes in the cold stare of combat.
Like an Arnold/Carl arm wrestle but with Long swords.

When Sol is up (believe it is just H1 and G2 between Sol's turn) Sol will move back to C6 and light a bright flash from his crystal as he points towards H1 and casts Eldritch Blast attack: 11 damage: 14 and curses under his breath May Asmodeus torture your soul for all eternity.
Goblin 4 bats away the fire bolt with his scimitar and cries out “I am invincible!”
OOG: on mobile so I can’t see if this was down but Just a reminder. Ranged attacks at close proximity should have disadvantage. (Someone correct me on that if I’m wrong. )
OOC: Sorry, my fault. I did not read that part (didn't matter since it rolled a 1). While we are on the topic, how does equippping weapons work? Eldon has a pair of daggers but was only wielding one (due to the requirement to cast spells). Can he equip the second one and make 2 attacks next turn, or does he need to just use the one?
OOG: I haven’t played with rules of drawing weapons taking up a turn. I don’t really like that idea from a cinematic perspective. It’s just a dagger and it’s right there.
Malakadin locks eyes with his Hobgoblin foe, "You are a fresh kind of ugly!" he says, attempting to drawn the Hobgoblin off his guard before he pulls his blade back and attacks 2 handed with it again.
Malakadin's strike lands across the Hobgoblin's face slashing off the fleshy bit it would have referred to as it's nose. It screams with rage and pain.

Ramón moves to aid his gnome ally (G5) while bellowing to his companions "Leave the last one alive for questioning!"Striking again with both axes, the dwarf swings to dismember another goblin.
Goblin 4 turns to Ramon and smiles as he screams "Immort...wha...aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh" Ramon's first axe takes the goblin's legs out from under him and the second axe slams from above driving the goblin into the ground. His torso makes a sickeningly wet crack that no one thinks indicates immortality.
OOC: By my count, we still have two Hobgoblins on the field, though one no longer has a nose - is that accurate? Can you attempt to intimidate them and try to kill one in the same turn?

OOC: To keep the engagement moving, I'll just assume "yes" and the DM can ignore my intimidation role if "no".
Grol takes a deep breath and summons a primal roar directly in the face of the hobgoblin (1). Intimidation Check (if I can do both, otherwise, ignore): 21
As his roar continues, he swings the war hammer, "Sleep Bringer", at the Hobgoblin. Attack:7 Damage:6

The strike glances off Grol's armor.
OOG: After this battle let's talk about flanking and advantage mechanisms with this map setup.
Ramon is up.
Regardless of flanking efficiency:
Ramòn stumbles to his feet and strikes at the hobgoblin in front of him (H2) with both axes.
Attack 1 9 damage 1 6
Attack 2 10 damage 2 11
Puff - Air Genasi Fighter (1), Coliseum of Conquest (recruiting)
Ramon - Dwarf Ranger (2), Lost Mines of Phandelver
Ramòn's axes slam into each of the Hobgoblin's shoulders, severing it's arms. He slumps to the ground. Clearly dying, soon to be dead.
Grol is up.
Grol, having shrugged off two attacks, laughs and says
You’ll have to do better than that you bat-eared mongrels! Let me introduce you Flo Thrak!
And with that, Grol raises his warhammer and swing down on Hobgoblin 1.
Attack: 10
Damage: 7
When Sol is up (believe it is just H1 and G2 between Sol's turn) Sol will move back to C6 and light a bright flash from his crystal as he points towards H1 and casts Eldritch Blast attack: 11 damage: 14 and curses under his breath May Asmodeus torture your soul for all eternity.

Goblin 2
Moves to g8. Attacks Grol with scimitar. Attack: 23 Damage: 5
But the sword hits nothing but armor.
Hobgoblin 1 is clearly frustrated and sees the battle has turned. Furious he swings down at Grol with his long sword
Attack: 21 Damage: 3
Martial Advantage Damage 4
The blow lands against Grols arm doing moderate damage.
After Sol's Eldritch Blast flies past the Hobgoblin's head it's Eldon's turn.
Eldon throws another Fire Bolt at the goblin attacking him. If ice doesn't work let's try fire again!
Attack: 6, Damage 7
Goblin 4 bats away the fire bolt with his scimitar and cries out “I am invincible!”
OOG: on mobile so I can’t see if this was down but Just a reminder. Ranged attacks at close proximity should have disadvantage. (Someone correct me on that if I’m wrong. )

Goblin 4 cries out "Die fire gnome! Die!"
Attacks Eldon with scimitar. Attack: 16 Damage: 6
The blade slashes across Eldons torso down his leg. The bleeding is significant. (Eldon HP: 3)
Ramon is up next.
Ramón moves to aid his gnome ally (G5) while bellowing to his companions "Leave the last one alive for questioning!" Striking again with both axes, the dwarf swings to dismember another goblin.

Goblin 4 is dead...very dead.
Grol is up.
