As Armalis's head slams into him, Ront stumbles backwards with a broken nose dripping blood. He gets up with a snarl...then drops to the ground as a poisoned crossbow bolt thuds into his back.
Kobolds and Max, read the spoiler:
In the armory, the guard breaks up the Kobolds' fight. He says "You want to serve? Then your punishment will be to go to your pen for the rest of the shift." He escorts you most of the way, before a drow warrior, once very handsome but now disfigured by scars, says "I'll take them, Balok." As the first drow walks away and you approach the cell, you hear the sound of fighting. The warrior lowers his crossbow and shoots the orc prisoner.
A disfigured drow warrior lowers his crossbow outside. He opens the door and shoves Max and the Kobold 3 inside. He then makes hand signs.
Xunhar:
"If I could give you a way out of here, would you take it?"
Vanros sighed as he leaned up, sighing as he watched the fist fight take place. "Is all of this really necessary?" He asked, scratching a bit at the palm of his hand. Once he saw the crossbow bolt, he raised an eyebrow. "Well then. Guess that settles that..." He streched a bit as he rubbed at a sore spot on his back, wandering to the body to pull out the bolt from the body.
Xunhar was already approaching the cell door, keeping to the shadows of the cave much like an Underdark predator, when suddenly the guard's signed question seemingly catches him off-guard and he freezes for a moment. He raises one eyebrow inquisitively, making a slight gesture with his hand towards the drow guard.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kozvul is going to put some distance between herself and Ront's unconscious body, and sit in the "most comfortable" area she can find, while still being close enough to hear general conversation amongst anyone that gathered around.
Perception: 13 (in case it's needed to determine what she can/cannot overhear).
"I'll leave the door unlocked and distract the guards during the next change. There's an armory directly behind me. Once you've got all that you want, you can jump off onto the webs, then to the pool below." He tosses the key for your manacles quietly to you, then closes the door and acts as if he's locking it.
(OOC: I would recommend exploring the outpost a bit before you jump)
Xunhar nods in thankfulness as he catches the object thrown his way, stowing it carefully out of view between his manacles and wrist.
Signs back "You will be rewarded."
Then shrinks back to his corner of the cave as if nothing had happened at all, eyeing the others and nodding to the side to see if they manage to settle down.
"Sounds like they may be in a bit of trouble," Vanros whispered as he waited off in his spot, hiding the bolt in whatever shreads of clothes he has left. "I wonder if they will be able to contain it. Or notice anything else going on..." He glanced around the group slowly, wondering if anyone had a similar thought.
After the shouting in the distance, Xunhar hurriedly gets up and tries to get the attention of the others in the cell, "Listen up, fools! This is our chance to get out of here. alive" he produces a hidden key and fumbles around trying to unlock his own manacles, "It seems our guard friend a few moments back is rather unhappy with the management. The cell door is unlocked." he joins in with his teeth holding the key, which makes it kind of difficult for him to actually say anything else, but through muffled attempts he manages "There's an armory nearby. We can get equipment and see what these idiots have laying about before we use the webs and pools below to escape." he suddenly stops and looks dead in the eye at every one around him in turns, "Don't mess this up. Safety in numbers."
He takes the flint dagger hidden under his hair and takes a peek outside the cell to see if the nearby area is clear, signaling the others to keep close.
Vanros smiles widely, quickly hurrying over towards the drow to help him unlock his manacles, as well as his own. "If this will work on everyone else's, keep watch and I'll help them get out of theirs." He'd then take the key, starting to undo everyone else's.
Kozvul almost literally jumps at the opportunity for escape. Assuming that Vanros gets her manacles unlocked, she will then stick close to Maximillian as he leads the way.
(OOC: Maxmillian, make sure you add the hand crossbow and case of 20 crossbow bolts to your inventory)
You dash from your cell across a rope bridge and open the wooden door. Inside the room are 12 armor stands, half covered in exquisite studded leather armor and the other half in shining chain shirts. Lining the walls are shelves covered in wooden cases, with hand crossbows, shortswords, shields and daggers on hooks above, and cabinets below.
Xunhar hurries his way forward through the bridge, eyes darting around the room for useful items. He settles on a shortsword, quickly taking measure of its weight and balance, then proceeds to also take a dagger and stick it through the cloth around his waist as a makeshift sheath.
"Quick, grab what you need, I don't know how long it will take for another guard to check this area." he looks for other exits to this armory, otherwise keeping watch at the door for the time his newfound allies may need to don any armor.
"Where is it..." Varnos whispers aloud as he grabs a set of Studded Leather Armor and a hand crossbow. "Does anyone know where they took our belongings?" He whispered loudly to the group.
Ront grunts slightly as Kozvul rams him.
The red haired dwarf runs forward and smashes both fists into Ront. "How do ye like that, ye smelly beast?" she shouts.

A minute later, you hear cries of "A rebel quaggoth! After it!" during the guard change. What would you like to do (especially Xunhar)?
((Have the kobolds been put back into the cell or...?))
We're doing one small murder-y thing for a bigger, better reason. The ends justify the means.

“I know the way to the armory. Quietly now, follow me.” Maximillian moves to lead the way at a slight crouch.

There is a trapdoor and a door on the other side of the room.
