They receive little attention as the doc and Truth perform rituals to Revivify Temiki and Hans. The team of defeated contestants, battered, bruised and returned from the brink of death, and beyond, each gain from these events. Each gains 200 experience and is awarded a prize of 40 gold.
The Victors earn the greater purse of 100 gold, along with 300 experience, enough for each to advance to level-2, as well as the respect and admiration of the fans and the people of Sel'eman. The team is brought below the Coliseum, through halls and corridors, down to the prize room. Inside...

Kogu takes his money and angrily leaves the arena. Why does he keep dying in the first few rounds, he thinks to himself. He is even more determined to win next time he gets a chance.
Gell enters the arena and cracks his neck. Then, he looks up to the Daylight.

He looks to his team mates and patiently waits to see what their preparations are before clutching his mask.
"Those that rely on shadows should stay near. But not too close, least you be targeted as well."
As the last gravely words left his mouth, the porcelain mask turned pitch black before emitting a rapidly growing cloud of inky Darkness. One so deep, even those with Darkvision couldn't pierce the veil. Beneath the cover of darkness, chanting had begun in Orcish that carried an unnatural chill to it.
