Kaemgen leans forward to get a closer look at the liquid, but does not reach out for it. "And the connection between the vial and your fellow councilwoman is...?"

"Then we are off to Clearpoint yes? Will you be ok here yourself small one?" The Goliath mildly confused by her calling them there, saying she needed allies near, then sending them away.
Alyyja nods and gingerly takes the vial. She briefly brings both hands together before putting them in separate pockets leaving the vial in one of them. “We will see this accomplished for you,” she says before giving Kaemgen a bit of side eye at his question.
"A quick jaunt over to Clearpoint is an easy enough start. What is the name of this alchemist and how shall we find them?" Vorkaz asks in a respectful tone.
Sael watches Alyyja put the vial away and shrugs, unconcerned with the details. Hazel had helped her once with no fuss, and so she owed it to the woman to do the same. "Yes, a name would be good," she agrees with Vorkaz, nodding. "One presumes you don't want us asking about, calling attention to things." At least, Sael did not want to call attention to herself, and so having clear instructions would be better. "Also, shall we wait in Clearpoint for more instructions, or return here to you?"
Hazel laughs softly at Ianric's comment. "I should be okay here for a few days. But, in case of an emergency on either of our parts, I've had something commissioned."Once again, she reaches into her pocket, this time pulling out two flat, green-tinged stones. Looking closer, you can see a circle of tiny runes carved around the edges. "These stones are magically linked, and once a day, a message can be sent between them."She returns one stone to her pocket and offers out the other to whoever will take it.
"The alchemist's name is Garret Underbough. Last I spoke with him, he was living in a tower of sorts on the east end of the city. Hard to miss. Once he's completed his work, return here. Send me a message when you arrive and I'll find a place for us to meet again."
Kaemgen, you notice that Hazel seemed to ignore your question. However, if you want to try and determine the nature of the vial from the look you got at it, make an intelligence check.
"Ah! Rune magic! My tribe taught me the fundamentals of this!" Reaching out to take the stone, but realizing that each of his fingers were nearly half as wide as her hand, he simply held his large hand under hers for her to be able to drop the other stone into, a giddy look like a child being handed a new toy in his eyes.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kaemgen leans in towards the councilwoman a bit and lowers his voice a bit. Obviously privacy isn’t going to happen at this setting but the hushed tone can convey at least a certain seriousness...
“I owe you,” Kaemgen says. “There is no argument on that point. So I do not need my every whim and curiosity settled. Whatever intrigues are going on I’m fine with the not knowing. But there are limits to what I owe...Give me your word that what you ask would not besmirch my honor and the matter is done. I need no other questions answered...”
((He won’t wonder overly so at the contents of the vial, but he will do his best to read Councilwoman Hazel as she responds. Insight 4

“Good enough then,” Kaemgen says with a nod. “Deliver the vial to the alchemist, keep as low profile as possible, share no details, and use the rock in emergencies. Clear enough.”
Kaemgen glances around at everyone else assembled. “I’m ready when you are...”

"One last thing, sorry if I missed it. Is this alchemist human or is he another small one?" Though humans were all over the place it would be very hard to find a Tiefling if they were looking for an Elf.
Vorkaz's gaze follows Kamen closely, watching his reaction to all of Hazel's responses. Seemingly satisfied with his agreement to proceed, Vorkaz speaks up, "Well then, I for one am ready to depart. Once we are on the road we should rightfully introduce ourselves an what we are capable of."
Sael seems pleased at the prospect of getting out of here and back on the road, perking up some. "I am ready," she asserts, moving a step towards the door.
"Garret is a dragonborn. Not as tall as you, but not exactly small either," Hazel answers.
As you prepare to leave, she stands as well, smiling and dipping her head respectfully. "May fortune smile on all of us in the days to come. I will see you all soon."

It's just after noon currently, so if you set off in an hour you could get a good half day of travel in. There's ample shopping and dining available in the city if you're interested. Or, if you have some specific preparation in mind, let me know.
((Setting off today sounds good...I’d just need to grab my traveling gear - doubt I brought a backpack to meeting with councilwoman... so if anyone need shop, get it done!))

Hazel gently places the stone into Ianric's hand.
"You have my word," she replies to Kaemgen, meeting his eyes. "I have no intentions of involving you in some dishonorable plot."
@Kaemgen
You get the sense that while she has been purposefully light on the details, Hazel's statement is honest.

Vorkaz bows deeply to the council woman before turning to leave, "I am ready whenever you are."
Alyyja straps on her pack including a mining pick and shovel before stating, “Good to go here.”
