You don't get access to this content via subscription. You might have access shared with you via content sharing in a campaign you're in (which would have been turned on by someone with a master tier subscription, possibly you) but that only grants you access to use the content in that specific campaign. Trying to use that content while creating a character not in that campaign would not work.
I am running this very soon. I was wondering if there will be a supplement for spelljammer that answers all the questions that have been left unanswered.
My Astral Drifter's character sheet doesn't show the Longevity trait. As the character is in a West Marshes campaign, the DMs tend to question his "advanced" age. Is there any way to have the feature showing in the character sheet?
If you click on the Astral Drifter background in the description tab, the full wording of the background will show up in the sidebar. The wording in the character sheet should always be checked against the sidebar version or the book, as it's often abbreviated to fit better.
Giff isn't a language in D&D 5e. It's neither a player option, nor a language present in a Giff monster stat block. If you want to include languages not presented as a player option in official material, you can edit character sheets directly to add your own language options.
Oh wow, that's interesting. The stat block shows just common. The Thri-keen and Hadozee have languages, was there a thematic reason for Giff to just speak common?
I can read the book but the new player races don’t show up in the character creator
Have you bought the book for yourself? If not, you're getting it through sharing, and can only make characters in a campaign where one of the other players has the book.
If you did buy it, did you just buy the compendium content? If so, you've only got the book text, and not the character-builder support.
Likely you're part of a campaign where it is being shared. To make a character go into that campaign and at the bottom it will say "Create Unassigned Character" do that, then once you're done making it, claim it.

Why that and not click the create a character button at the top of the page the invite link takes one to?
The Spelljammer: Adventures in Space books do not appear in search results. For example, try searching for Wildspacer, Prince Andru, Vampirate, Moondancer, etc.
Can we please add an option to "untick" SpellJammer content?
For me, it's hard to explain to new players and many of the options it adds are super specific to Spelljammer. I understand that they fall under the "Core" D&D books, but so does Planescape, which has its own option to toggle on and off.
I've been looking everywhere and can't seem to find this and I want to make sure before I give a spelljammer to my players. can other ships besides the Nautiloid cast plane shift? I've looked at the descriptions so many times and searched online for it and can't find a solid answer.

If it were a general property, it'd be in the general rules for ships, so it''s not, and the ships that can will explicitly say so. Which is just the Nautilloid.
Moving from the prime material to the astral and back at the borders does not require the ability to plane shift..
I've been playing my character for a bit and only JUST realized that the Wildspacer backstory has a close encounter feature.
It's been mentioned twice here that the features Longevity and Close Encounter don't appear for the backgrounds Astral Drifter and Wildspacer but these were never addressed properly.
Perhaps it's because I'm on mobile? Someone did mention that it should be checked against the sidebar. I do see the sidebar in my character sheet which does mention close encounter, but it's nowhere listed during character creation when managing character and levels, which arguably is the most important spot to have it listed.
I own the trilogy but links to monsters from the adventure assume I don't and point to the marketplace instead. Never mind. I had to sync my privileges or whatever.
Do I still have to purchase the sourcebook even though I have content available on my subscription?

Hi,
I have the Spelljammer sources shared and purchased in DnD Beyond but during character creation PC's can't add Giff as a language they know.

Possibly, but unfortunately 5e releases has decided not to enlighten us with any real lore for Spelljammer.
