Posting this AGAIN 24 hours after my previous post...
I have a Master Tier subscription and purchased 2024 PHB. I cannot access this and it's treating me like I never purchased it (despite it saying "In Library") when I browse my purchases.
Is anyone else having this issue? And, is there any word or update as to when or even if this is going to be fixed soon???
I think I saw a comment on this forum but I haven’t been able to see it since. I am not able to apply my homebrewed subclass for paladin with the new rules for paladin. The homebrew system won’t even allow me to copy the old template I am using to try to recreate it.
A small UX complaint - as I know we now get stat bumps and feats from backgrounds - it's just weird to me to be prompted to pick the status boost (+2,+1 /+1 x 3) before I get to the tab where I roll my stats. Meaning the flow of progression forces you to go back and forth rather than progress.
It's a little wrinkle, I didn't expect after hearing about the changes to backgrounds but it does mess with the sequential building of a character as it is presented. It feels like it's in the wrong place.
Bug: My Draconic Sorcerer Character's Draconic Sorcerer Spells (Command, Chromatic Orb, Alter Self, Dragons Breath, etc) are showing up as "at will" not as just always prepared but as using spell slots to cast.
As a Warlock-centric player, it almost feels insulting they did not make any effort to support the invocations. There was literally a video on the official account about how into warlocks the interviewee was, and the class is just broken. I’ll just make my class by hand because you released a very bad version of the class I guess. Glad I paid for this? Was there a beta test on this?
All "sub class" spells are showing up "At-Will". They all have the tag "Spell Slot Required: No" in the builder. They need to be turned to "Yes"That is causing this issue.
War Caster: I would have to copy it in Homebrew to what is restricting it.
I don't work for Wizards or D&D Beyond. I just like knowing things and spreading knowledge.
Divine Soul Sorcerers are mostly fixed, which is awesome! The Cleric spell list is now available.
There is still an issue, though: the “Affinity” spell granted at level 1 is unable to be changed as with other spells upon level up. As written in XGtE, it should be able to be changed like normal.

Don't expect that to get fixed. It's been that way in the 2014 content since release.
When creating a Goliath Warlock and it has a green A next to every Skill as if I'd have advantage on those roles, but when I hover over it the tooltip says "to end the Grappled condition(Powerful Build)". The character sheet link is https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/131357970.
Also when trying to generate the sheet as a PDF, it spits it out the correct details (i.e. no A next to each skill) however the character sheet is the old style, and not the far better Character Sheet you can download through the rulebook! Is there going to be the option for the online character builder to generate the PDF as per the layout of the new Character Sheet.
Hopefully these issues are fixed in time for the full release to players.
The description of Pact of the Chain on the warlock section of the 2024 PHB links to the 2014 version of the slaad tadpole, rather than the 2024 version.

You have to make a new Subclass for the 2024 Paladin. It is technically a different class from the 2014 Paladin so you need to make a new Subclass for 2024.
Are there any plans to add subclasses that are not currently "backwards compatible"? I have a player that is playing an Echo Knight who cannot update his character.

In the post at the beginning of this thread they said: “Just as a note - you’ll note that many subclasses that have been published by our various Partners do not appear for the 2024 classes. We’re working with them to update their content for the new rules, but do not have an ETA for those releases.”
So, the answer is yes, but they don’t yet have an ETA. I think it’s odd that they’re not immediately selectable but it sounds like they’ve made a behind the scenes version of each subclass that works with the 2024 ‘subclass at level 3’ etc.process and they don’t want to do that to partnered content until they’ve worked that out with those partners… I would even venture to guess that they’re legally not allowed to do it unilaterally.
Uh... Can we have a list of known issue posted on the first page?
Or at least the list that has been fixed? So we can track progress and/or refer others to the first page. Or idk, make a new thread solely for reported/known/ongoing/resolved bugs?
Things i have noticed. 1. Cure wounds is scaling properly. its suppose to heal 2d8+ spell mod+2d8 for evry spell slot above 1st. Currently its only doing a total of 3d8+mod at 2nd level.
2. Goliaths powerful build is giving me advantage on everything skill for some reason
3. Divine Smite spell is has a lot of errors, it shouldn't have a duration and im pretty sure its not suppose to be a transmutation spell.

A minor bug, for the Free Rules, but the 2024 cleric has the Blessed Strikes feature twice for some reason
War Caster is not even listed as a Feat to grab after 4th.

Gift of the Protectors and Investment of the Chain Master Eldritch Invocation Options are not available.
Is there a known issue thread that can be pinned to the forum that we can look through before submitting a bug in a new thread?
If so, could a link also get added to the post at the beginning of this thread?
thanks!

Weapon property tooltips on the digital book are pointing at the 2014 entries.
(I’m on mobile so I can’t add screenshots.)
Go to the weapons table.
Go to a Heavy weapon.
Tap on the Heavy property.
The linked article still says Small creatures have disadvantage with them.
