The Magic Coin attack of the Mercantile College is adding a bonus damage like it's a weapon rather than a flat +1 (using CHA bonus).
It also isn't scaling up with character level, only class level. But the wording looks like more any cantrip: "The coin’s thunder damage increases by 1d12 when you reach 6th level (2d12) and 14th level (3d12)."
