I can find Elf Wizard (Male), Halfling Rogue (Male), Human Fighter (Female) and Dwarf Cleric (Female), but not the alternative character images. Given how many "Human Fighter" premades there are, would it not be better to either provide an image choice intermediate screen, or provide both versions of image that create the same character sheet?
They seem generic? Are they made for the Heroes of the Borderlands? Do they start with the same Ability scores that are also on the character card from the physical box?

They are the digital representations of the 4 class boards in the box, with the same stats.
However, there are 8 character images, that align with the class race combinations, one male one female. The premade characters only use one, and as far as I can find, the images don't appear in the digital source anywhere, so I can't even steal them and replace the image in the premade character after the fact.
I'd be happy if they just added the images of the 8 characters to the digital set as an appendix so that I can use the alternative image for a premade. Then my players can claim the male or female version that matches their token.
It is quite confussing. I see different classes at level 1 with different stats and I don't know which one corresponds to the Heroes of the Borderland original characters...
Ok. Definitely the D4 of the digital dice set is wrong. First number is the rolled dice, and second number is what gamelog displays: 3 is 4 2 is 2 4 is 1 1 is 3
It would be great if someone from Beyond staff could confirm it is a bug and it is gonna be solved at some point. Thank you.
Is there no chance of breaking up all those premades on that page into their respective "intended" pre-made campaign settings/box sets?
Like:
Heroes of the Boderlands: (Characters Listed)
Dragons of Stormwreckle Isle: (Characters Listed)
Or something to that nature?
Hopefully when they make the premade campaign (https://www.dndbeyond.com/campaigns/premade) it will place 4 unclaimed characters in automatically, if the creator has the DM Tier subscription. I could see people complaining if it were done for Free tier.
I am having trouble seeing the premades. I see some characters at the bottom of the premade list but those are not like the characters in Heroes of the Borderlands (wrong stats, wrong equipment etc etc.).

Where are you guys seeing the premades.
Four of the 8 character tokens are here. The other four tokens are unfortunately not available as premades, but the stats are the same. Taking the Cleric:
Thanks! Yes, it is hard to understand why Wizards would have done this in such a low effort way. This is an intro for new players and they should have made the entry into D&D Beyond enticing and effortless. I was able to get my own players (with their different choices for Background/Species) characters to match but it took some effort.
I remember that, on release, the claim was made by DDB that they were giving some extra care to the premade characters and they would be released in the coming weeks. Then they plop these zero effort unlabeled pre-mades onto the site. Disappointing-- not to me because I had to prepare the sheets myself but because I think HOTB is a great product and I want D&D Beyond to succeed and get better.
The last time I played D&D was during 4th edition and the digital effort there was full of promises--every one of those promises were broken.

Only if you're an over-preparing DM who needs to create one of every combination.
Alternatively, if you're trying to let your players use full character sheets... let them make their character. They can choose their race, choose their background, and choose the features that come with that, and toss the board out completely.
If you're using premade digital characters, the boards are unnecessary and inaccurate if you make different choices.
I don't know if this issue goes in this topic. If it doesn't, I ask the mods to move it to the right thread.
I pre-ordered the Heroes of the Borderlands Ultimate Bundle Edition (digital and physical sets) 2 months ago. At the beginning of this month my credit card was charged, so I assumed everything was going smoothly.
The set was released on 16th of September. According to this site the physical set was going to be shipped within 2-5 days post-release. I have not received it yet. Moreover, I do not have it available in my D&D Beyond app either, at least not yet.
I don't know if this issue is being common for shippings outside the US (I am from Chile), but I'm starting to get anxious :/

For international orders, you should have received a purchase confirmation email. Inside is a link to redeem the book on D&D Beyond. You'll need to redeem that before you can use it on the site.

I purchased apre order physical copy in July and a month ago said it would be shipped. Nothing. Using the form customer service replied ONCE and said it was fine. WTF does that mean? Weeks later still not shipped. No further responses. I sent a message to cancel and refund. Nope, nothing and no @#$ing phone number to call. I guess small claims court is only solution?
I've had it with this scam! I didn't order from some unheard of company on the other side of the world! There needs to be some recourse to solve this! I guess I need to report it as fraud to the credit card company and see if I can get some help that way.

Has anything changed?
Does this mean I have to make on for each of the Species and a couple backgrounds?
It’s not as easy as changing Species and Background. There are choices that must be made after those changes that affect what shows up on the sheet.
If you want the DDB sheet to match the Heroes sheet, it takes a bit of detective work.
Only if you're an over-preparing DM who needs to create one of every combination.

I believe they are now shipping next month, at least here in the UK, a few weeks later than the original suggestion

What exactly did the message say? Did they give you a ticket number?
Did you order directly from dndbeyond.com, or from dndstore.wizards.com?
Are you in the EU? The release date there is Oct. 14th.
