Hey guys just to be clear. I'm trying to create forge adept but I can't replicate it as a magic item plan . Can some one explain to me how to get around this ? Do I just homebrew a magic item version of it ?
What, exactly, are you trying to replicate? The Ghaal'Shaarat can be found simply by adding it as an item using manage inventory. This isn't intuitive and hasn't been explained well, so I only found it by chance.
will the Ruinbounds Symbiont Mastery species trait be fixed soon? it's still registering any first item with the Symbiotic Nature as still needing to be attuned to.
Public Mod Note
(spamandtuna):
System limitation - see first post
I found it as a magic item but it didn't scale with int . In the end after i found it i recreated it as homebrew item and changed its scaling to int . Once we reach level 15 I'll change the mod and add the Immunities granted manually on the character sheet .
Maverick Spells, is programmed to function only with artificer levels. Even though its meant to scale with Prof Bonus So multiclassing level 5, does not gain the 3rd proficiency prepared spell. Would there be a way to fix this?
Either then that, been great how fast this stuff been getting fixed!
'You gain proficiency with Tinker's Tools. If you already have this proficiency, you gain proficiency with one other type of Artisan’s Tools of your choice. In addition, when you craft a magic item, the amount of time required to craft it is halved.'
Does not give you an option to gain another proficiency, as level 1 artificier should have Tinker Tools. So it should offer a replacement option?
content sharing not working for one of my players, he's trying to make a Forged Druid and yeah magic items, backgrounds, and feats are popping up for him, but not the subclasses, asked him to check the species to be save and they weren't there either. so the 2 most important options are the only things not showing up just why?
Changeling Metamorphosis doesn't really work right. When you select the feat there's 2 drop downs, one for the ASI (which does work) and one for Aquatic Adaptation, Darkvision and Natural Weapons. Selecting Darkvision doesn't grant Darkvision on the character sheet and selecting Natural Weapons doesn't add Natural Weapon attacks to the sheet. You should also be able to select STR or DEX for the Natural Weapons. It's easy enough to recreate the Feat as homebrew and at least add the attacks, but I kinda feel like it's something that the Feat should already do since it does have the drop down to select which part of the Feat you're using. (
Edit - Adding that Focused Personas doesn't save your selections for Adept and Expert Personas. Every time you change between the two you have to reselect your tool proficiency (Adept Persona) or Skill Expertise (Expert Persona) even though the feat isn't supposed to allow you to choose differently each time you switch.
There's a spelling error in the Quori Bond feat (both in the book itself and in the feat in the character builder). Hashataq should be spelled Hashalaq
Edit - happy to see Changeling Metamorphosis working like its supposed to, it's one of my absolute favorite feats in the game
The Forge Adept should be re-worked in D&D Beyond Character creator to operate like the Pact of the Blade of the Warlock using your Intelligence instead of Charisma. All of the Ghaal'Sharaat weapons make no sense when Intelligence isn't used for attack and damage rolls.
Natural Attacks from Changeling Metamorphosis aren't adding Proficiency Bonus to the attacks. As a level 5 character with +3 DEX the attack roll should be +6 (+3 for DEX and +3 for Proficiency Bonus) but it's only showing a +3 for the attack roll. Proficiency Bonus should apply since they're explicitly labeled as unarmed strikes and all characters are proficient in those. The STR option for the attacks also appears to be lacking the Proficiency Bonus getting added.
When using a Forge Adept - I can't set a weapon to use my Intelligence instead of Stength/Dex. I know this is possible since its implemented for the Battle Smith.

Fixed! When you click a weapon, you should now see a "Use Intelligence" option there in the sidebar.
The Juggernaut Plating feat doesn't seem to be working even when the Warforged race is selected - it lists it as an unavailable feat still in the character sheet.
When I was looking at forge adept subclass spell list feature I noticed it said “When you reach an Artificer level specified in the Battle Smith Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.” Maybe this is the issue with the spell list for this subclass

oh forgot to add, Maverick Tool Proficiency:

The magic item Spellburrow does not have a list of spells that you can choose to have prepared, as in the items description.
Also, the Ruinbound species does not have an option to select a magical item/weapon to be attuned to their species feature "Symbiont Mastery."

Still not showing up in the App for purchase. Anyone Know when that will be addressed?
Will the capstone options ever be implemented?

You can usually find me in my fanfiction account reading or on facebook.
Leave me a message whenever you wan to talk dnd.
I'm STILL having this issue aswell!
Apparently the warforged species does not meet the pre-requisites for the juggernaut plating feat

The Forge Adept's spell list still isn't showing up on my sheet. Armor of Agathys, Shield of Faith, Spiritual Weapon, etc. Not there.
I was wondering. Why cant the alternate capstones be implemented like the alternate ranger features from tasha?
