ENABLING CONTENT FOR YOUR CHARACTER
To use content from Dr Dhrolin’s Dictionary of Dinosaurs in the character builder, you will need to set the character preferences to include Palaeo Games source category (see the .gif below).
RULE SET
This book has been updated to the 5.5e rule set.
NEW SUBCLASSES
This book features 3 new subclasses:
Ranger: Big Game Hunter
Fighter: Bonesmith
Druid: Circle of Cycles
These subclasses are partially supported with the following callouts:
Fighter Subclass. The Bonesmith was originally an Artificer subclass in the printed version of the book, but has been adapted as a Fighter subclass for D&D Beyond.
NEW SPECIES
This book features 6 new species:
Pluvenn
Manyhorn
Jeholrak
Ankylier
Limukin
Children of Seth
These species are fully supported.
Languages. Each of the new species in this book have the Archosauric language by default in addition to Common and one other language of the player's choice. Players wanting to select two languages in addition to Common may do so by enabling "Customize Your Origin" within the character builder.
NEW BACKGROUNDS
This book features 3 new backgrounds:
Time-Lost
Geologist
Palaeontologist
These backgrounds are fully supported.
Characteristic Tables and Bonus Features. While this book has been updated to the 5.5e ruleset, our friend at Palaeo Games felt it was important to maintain these aspects of the backgrounds. D&D Beyond has integrated these features and tables into both the compendium and character sheet.
NEW FEATS
This book features 8 new feats. These feats are fully supported.
NEW SPELLS
This book features 1 new spell. This spell is fully supported.
NEW MAGIC ITEMS
The book features 31 magic items with over 60 variations. These magic items are partially supported with the following callouts:
Actions on Magic Items. Some of the new magic items grant specific actions as part of their magic. D&D Beyond doesn’t currently support the ability to attach actions directly to magic items; we have included charges and associated spells where appropriate, but in the case that an item’s functionality is otherwise text-only, we recommend creating Custom Actions on the character sheet to represent those items.
Kriss of Haţeg. This magic weapon can be applicable to either a dagger or a knife. Knives are not a standard weapon on D&D Beyond. The listing for Kriss of Haţeg uses dagger as its base weapon.
NEW MUNDANE ITEMS
The book features 19 mundane items. These items are fully supported.
NEW MONSTERS
The book features 80 monster stat blocks with over 50 magical variations. These monsters are partially supported with the following callouts:
Design Philosophy. The creature stat blocks in this book have been designed to reflect their real world counterparts as accurately as possible. Due to this some of the cauclations for creature stats may vary from standard D&D rules.
Automaticlly Failed Saving Throws. Some creatures in this book have traits that cause them to automatically fail some saving throws. These are called out by an asterisk (*) in the compendium. D&D Beyond's monster listings are unable to support the asterisk in this location on the stat block, and a -20 has been added to represent the failed save.
Unsupported Dice. Some creatures in this book use dice that are not supported by D&D Beyond such as a d2 or d3. Our friends at Palaeo Games have selected new dice and adjsuted the calculations that best represent these creatures within the constraints of D&D Beyond.
Unsupported Sizes. Some creatures in this book have sizes that are not supported by D&D Beyond such as Miniscule and Colossal. Our friends at Palaeo Games have selected new sizes that best represent these creatures within the constraints of D&D Beyond.
NEW MAPS
The book features 6 new maps. These are fully supported.
This is probably not the right place, but I bought the book and was charged twice, but I did not receive it and have not received any confirmation emails.
If you still don't have access to the content within an hour or two of purchasing it (in cases where it's not a preorder/you should otherwise have access), please file a support ticket and the Support team will get back to you soon.

I've done that. Probably buried in all of the usual repeat tickets.

Support responds usually within a few days, not hours. You'll likely need a bit more patience
