Dude why can't master-tier subscribers share drops with their players? What is the point if you can't use the content in the games you ar running? Why does WotC always do this?! Always going for the shamless money grab.
This is evil, Truly ruining the hobby, will be ending my years long sub due to your awful greed. locking player options behind a BS drops system and FOMO. AND not even keeping your content YOU PAID FOR after you sub ends. i cant believe people support this.
Hello! I noticed an issue in regards to the Mobile version of the drops.
I try and download the Drops to my device, and noticed that the file size is null (reading as "-- MB" on the listing). As a result, no matter how many times I try and download it, it won't download.
Under Drops I have a lot of items listed there that are not clickable, they are just black text no link. There are some that have links but it looks to be only about half of them. Even the opening day of Drop content marked as such is unavailable. I do have a player subscription, the 25.99 one is that preventing me from seeing the others? I was under the impression from mutuple video from WoTC that as long as you had a paid subscription regardless of what tier they would all be available.
i found 2 small bugs with the Fey pact / Fey Sentinel and Wood Elf Species
The Wood Elf Species and Fey Pact both give you the Druid Craft cantrip but neither have a, "If you already have it chose a new one " option. so the player ends up with 2 on the sheet.
Also Fey Sentinel should grant one free casting of the Plant Growth spell by 5th level but its not.
I also noticed it too. Maybe not enough data. For the dev group I suggest adding the blood hunter class and the one fighter subclass available on the site but not the app. But that's just my opinion. You do what you want. Just fix it.
A strange thing that has happened is that there's now a feat called "Pact Seeker Ability Score Increase", which can be found here. It can't be selected in the character builder as far as I can see, nor does it come up in the Rules -> Feats search, but it does come up in the site-wide search.
We're getting a glimpse of how things work behind the scenes. My assumption is that, since backgrounds didn't use to include the ASIs, there's no entry in the database table to put them there, and the feat is used to make the background's stat boosts work. (I just searched for "acolyte ability score increase", and got a whole bunch of similar feats.)
This explains why custom backgrounds can't do the ASI thing.
(And no, one can't hand-add them in the homebrew interface, and I'm not going to try bypassing the page javascript to edit the response directly.)
Are Drops ephemeral or persistent? Or perhaps I should instead be asking which types of drops are ephemeral such that—if I don't log in (via my Master Tier subscription) for a week— risk missing out on the drop? It appears to me that I am unable to claim past drops such as dice packs (ephemeral). But I suspect I can find any Drop In Encounters within Maps VTT (persistent).
Also (aside) when I browse the content library the all of dice links are broken (XML error).
I have read the latest post about Drops, but remain confused about how and when I can access drops. (Admittedly, I am slow and easily confused.)
Yes. I actually did find it as you suggest and was editing my question while you were replying which is why it is now different than in your quote. (Thank you BTW for your kind attention, time and response!)
So am I correct in surmising that Drop in Enounters are persistent but not all Drops are persistent? ISTR that some drops must be claimed promptly, during the week of its posting (eg. Dice Drops). I'm still trying to figure out which drops are ephemeral and which are persistent.

The article announcing the whole Drops thing seemed to make it pretty clear that you get to keep all the Subscriber content for as long as you have a subscription, and there is no need to explicitly claim any of it. None of the subscriber content is "ephemeral" in that way as far as I know. Where did you hear it was?
Many links included in the historic D&D Beyond Drops Content Library are—and have always been—broken for me. Feats & Spells links do work for me. But while I did once claim a dice drop from the main Drops page because I happened to log on that week, I remain unable to download any other dice drops. I guess that covers all of the categories (Encounters, Spells, Feats, & Dice), so it's only dice drops which seem to me to be ephemeral.

Drops has only existed for about a month, and there haven't been any dice released under it in that time. You may be looking at some stuff from the old subscriber perks program, which they've combined with the new Drops stuff into a single "Subscriber Content" page now. It's possible that some of the dice from the subscriber perks had limited windows of time in which you had to claim them, but they've said it's not supposed to work that way anymore, so you might want to put in a support ticket about that.
The digital dice are not something you need to "download"; they're for use with the D&D Beyond online tools, and you can see all the ones you have access to here: https://www.dndbeyond.com/my-dice
OK. I had indeed conflated "Subscriber Perks" with "D&D Beyond Drops", but as you say they are now effectively the same thing and should no longer be ephemeral, so I will submit a support ticket as you have suggested. It will state that every Dice link on the D&D Beyond Drops Content Library resolve (for me) in an XML error message, and are thus unavailable to claim. Btw, here is the link to the aforementioned content library should any Hero– or Master–Tier subscriber wish to compare your experience with mine:
FYI, I gave up after a failed attempt to submit a ticket to report the XML error message received when attempting to access content (specifically Digital Dice) within the D&D Beyond Drops Subscriber Content Library which is available to Hero Tier and Master Tier subscribers. My reasons for giving up are: 1) I don't have a wizards login and am finding this process too onerous to navigate, 2) I'm too busy trying to learn how to create and manage campaigns within D&D Beyond to be derailed by peripheral concerns, and 3) I suspect the developers must already be aware of the issue and presume a fix will be forthcoming, regardless of any actions I myself do or do not take. /FIN

You can temporarily get around the dice XML error by deleting cookies and saved data for DDB in your browser.

All subscribers get full access to everything in the Drops library. The only thing thing required is a subscription.

Thoughts??
It's not tiered. Some of it is part of maps, and they probably can't link directly to it.
Yea I double checked there are a lot of maps and "stickers" that arent linked, but there are also
Character Sheet Backdrops, Reveals are also part of that as well, thanks for clarifying. I will look at the maps and chacter frames tomorrow

Thank you for the tip, jl8e! Deleting cookies & clearing my cache indeed resolved the issue (at least temporarily, which is enough.)
