Eberron is a setting made for 3rd edition that was the result of a contest or something like that. I kinda like it.
Personally I'm looking forward to a non-wizards product that WotC should have picked up on.
Beyond that I don't really care much for setting books and would prefer more indeph books maybe detailing a city or something that would be unstable in any campaign setting.
I feel like the typical setting material that is produced is too thin.
I dig it. Maybe Unearthed Arcana will come out and include the Planes.
My guess is that the next thing we see is a Planscape product, since they just announced that new Planescape video game. Previously they were trying to link all mediums together with one setting (novels, RPG products, video games), and they promised to maintain that method. Up until now we've only seen FR.
planescape would also be a good way to bridge new players using FR to other worlds like Greyhawk, Dragonlance, Eberron, etc.
I wish they would finish an in depth follow up on some of the lightly touched upon places of Faerun. Such as places to the south and east of the Sword Coast and the North. Perhaps some more backgrounds as well might be nice. I think if they drop the Forgotten Realms as a default setting, it might cause a conundrum of confusion, even though most everyone knows of the Greyhawk, Dragonlance, Eberron and Dark Sun settings. How much I'm not too sure but I do know that the Sword Coast Adventure Guide was meant to learn from the region that is wildly in play right now with a lot of the 5e released setting material such as the Adventure League, Hardcovers, digital computer and video gaming along with paperback and hardcover novels.
I think if they put out everything I wanted I'd be broke. I voted for Dark Sun because that was the last world I ran around in during high school, but really I want all of the ideas!
I like all of them. I've personally run adventurers though each of these in my years and found something delightful about each one. They all have merits and drawbacks.
What I would like to see is a Campaign book on creating and building your own homebrew world from scratch. One epic book that cover worlds in detail. I've seen a lot of exciting and amazing world created out there by people and would like to see something that would encourage this. There is some much creative talent within the D&D community and creating a world can be a daunting task. But a step by step guide would help those bring that imagination to life.
It a game of stories and people like the tools to create their own.
Just my 2 coppers.

"...Debts must always be paid, sometimes in more than blood and gold. But this is Ordo Ursa," Ren places his hand on Erakas's chest, right where the Dragonborn's heart is. "Right here. And it always has been and always will be. Don't ever forget that. Because I won't."

If WotC took a vote for another Adventurers Guide (similar to the Sword Coast Adventurers Guide), what would you choose?

Eberron. It was a hard choice between it and Dragonlance, though.
We do bones, motherf***ker!
Eberron... ;)
I don't know what Eberron is. But lightning rails sound cool.

We need a True World Adventurer's Guide! Anchorome, Katashaka, and Maztica await!
Maybe an Abeir Adventurer's Guide too, that'd be sweet.
Abeir, Anchorome, Kara-Tur, Katashaka, Maztica, Zakhara, and Laerakond need some 5E love
