A friend and myself are trying to get a DND streaming channel started up.
We have already gotten input on equipment and layout, but we still need to do a test to see how it works out and to get any additional input before we officially launch it. We were planning to do a modified version of The Death House from Curse of Strahd, with myself as DM and my friend and a few others as players.
However, during a recent discussion on what else we would do on the channel aside from the campaign, we juggled the idea of doing adventures from official sourcebooks as part of the campaign or separate one-shots. One such idea was a going through the entirety of Curse of Strahd. With that in mind, we wonder if doing The Death House twice (once as a test and once as official content) would be too much? The reason being that I WON'T be DMing in the actual campaign when the channel starts.
So I would like your opinion: Do you think it would be a bad idea to do The Death House as a test if we plan to do the entire Curse of Strahd in the future?
Please let me know and if you think yes, do you have any alternatives you would recommend we do instead?
If you're planning on playing through a module later in your stream, I would recommend avoiding it in the test. If it's just a test, then perhaps run through a homebrew or just a small module which you haven't planned on showing and which isn't critical to linking other modules (so it can't happen to come up by chance later on).

Thanks for the feedback!
My friend and I recently did a test for equipment and streaming. Per your advice, we skipped The Death House and ran a custom one shot.
We are looking for feedback, so if you want to take a look, I'll provide the link here. No pressure though.
Thank you again!
Hi there
I would suggest that you change the font of the player names to the same as the one DM is using for better visual effect.
If you don't want to change the font, then at least change the colors to white for easier reading.
Good luck with the project!
Thank you!
