I was posed by another person on the forum who would like to see more videos of people talking about dungeons (I to am not opposed). Not hours-long videos but shorter maybe 20 to 40-minute videos. Then I wondered what other people on the forum might think.
Assuming you watch videos (most likely on YouTube) of people who discuss dungeons not just running the game.
Do you like it when they explain the dungeon? In other words, really break it down and talk about every nook and cranny. Or just a general overview of what is in the dungeon they are talking about, more like a review than a complete breakdown.
Giving their opinion of how to run the dungeon? A commentary, showing where they would do things differently than the original design.
They are designing the dungeon throughout the video? You watch them craft the dungeon either being creative or using random tables.
Published dungeons vs. homebrewed? Yes, the previous question would be homebrewed but this is reviewing or discussing an already-made dungeon.
Any other thing I didn't think about? Talking about traps, room layout, monsters or NPCs' motivations, why the dungeon even exists, how to add it to your own campaign, etc.
Assuming these videos are engaging, how long of a video would you like these to be? Length of 10-minute bursts, or 20, 30, 45 minutes, an hour, or broken into multi-parts?
Lastly,
Existing Modules, Listing to a DM who has run a module and explaining how they did it, with changes to fit their group or play style? This would be a longer type of video as some modules are rather lengthy. Even adventure paths or whatever you want to call them.

Depends. As a DM, I love seeing how the sausage is made and getting a designer's view of a dungeon is enjoyable for me. As a player, I may not like having a dungeon spoiled for me, but an "after action" report or walkthrough would be fun.

Again, on the DM side of things, getting others' perspectives on running a dungeon is always helpful.
They are designing the dungeon throughout the video?
We did that and it was great fun to do and I hope fun to watch.
Published dungeons vs. homebrewed?
Published dungeons are easier for lots of folks to follow along with at home, but I'm always a fan of seeing what homebrew dungeons people can come up with. It broadens my horizons as a DM and gives me new inspiration in my own designs.
Assuming these videos are engaging, how long of a video would you like these to be?
Depends on how deep the dive is. I could do thirty minutes to upwards of two hours.
Existing Modules, Listing to a DM who has run a module and explaining how they did it, with changes to fit their group or play style?
I'd watch that. It's effectively an "after action" report and I enjoy listening to those from other non-DnD games.
Thanks for all the great info. I will check your video out later when I'm supposed to be working. hehehe.
I really should have said to everyone I was thinking of adding this to my own channel and really like the idea of making some dungeons and then breaking them down for people. Or going over other people's work and doing my own take. I also feel like doing a few videos talking about my group's current campaign "Rise of Tiamat". Telling how I changed it, plus all the crazy ways my players made me want to throw dice at them for ruining my hard work. In the end, I just want to think my ideas might help others or at least inspire them with their own.
That is always my plan, to help people have a better game.
