Hey Y'all, recently, I picked up the Dungeons of Drakkenheim campaign here on on DnDBeyond to play it SOLO, and I really enjoyed it! Enough that I got the itch to create a YouTube video outlining some of my experiences and some of my solo methods:
It is a pretty dry 30 minutes, but hopefully, this provides a few folks out there with some solo ideas and how to play using the tools here on DndBeyond. I would also say those looking to play DND5E solo might find the Drakkenheim campaign an excellent choice, as you can "Play" as you "Read" the campaign, it's easy to jump right in with some fresh characters. The toolset (campaign, maps, encounters) provided was enough for me to use it as my "one-stop shop" for play.
Superb vid... very interesting will certainly be giving Solo a try... but have you tried AboveVTT it really works seamlessly with DNDBeyond really I think everyone of your requesters is covered by it and it a Free fan project... and as for your morel qualms yeah I know feel much the same and with that in mind I'm saying AboveVTT is very much the reason that I'm still master tier here. errr... and that I'm in the middle of running COS :D with sibs
wishing you all the best

AboveVTT's Discord channel is a good place to get tips and tricks and how to's.
I really liked your vid conversational style pacing and layout... really rather impressed by it. I didn't touch on the Drakkenheim Solo
aspect of the your vid which initially caught eye. I'll definitely be trying some of your methodology for solo'ing DnD... :D
You really peeked my interest in Drakkenheim it also reminded my me much of the scenarios you mentioned... I was reminded of Mortheim warpstone, wfrp and Shadows Over Bögenhafen if the player fail... and Neverwinter with its rift in older DnD edition Neverwinter Campaign Setting guide books. But Drakkenheim looks far more polished I just got lost in tombs of multiple edition lore and time lines of Neverwinter which really didn't help as a starting hub for a starting DM. anyways Drakkenheim sounds really cool exactly what I was looking for when starting out with 5e
