I crafted this cool Glowing magical spell effect out of some basic household and crafting items. Minus some curing time, the entire craft only took a few hours! Check out the video to see how I made the bubble :)
I crafted some fun merchant tables with custom items for sale using greenstuff, cast items, and more. I even made one interactive with a fun little wiring tutorial.
I made some merchant benches last week, so this week I made an entire merchant tent for all of them. This video has a bunch of fun details and a homemade concoction to save you money on your next build.
I made this cool Ice Wall Spell Effect with a new resin product I received. Super impressed with it and the added lights make this thing glow like crazy! I might have to make some ice terrain based on this build as well.
I made some quick and easy castle walls and corner towers that doubles the size of the castle I already made in just a few days! Layering sheets of foam and adding texture to them is about the extent of the difficulty of this craft. The walls and towers can even be used all by themselves as their own castle if you want!
I decided to see just how many LED’s I could cram into the head of a miniature…. 8…I crammed 8 LED’s into the head of this miniature. That and I used some magnets, a Conwy board from Terrain Tronics, flocking, and UV matte medium to get the most out of this miniature.
I had to make a really cool diorama to match the spider I modified a few weeks ago. It had to be as creepy and freaky as the spider itself….What do you think?
I wanted to show off the true power of this tornado spell effect, and I think I captured it in this video! It’s massive, it spins, and the added bits and pieces on and around the tornado really bring it to life ! I even have a mini of me created by Alex from TigerSkullRPG to cast the spell!
I made Krampus’ Lair just in time for the Holidays with over 500 skulls in the build haha. This video is packed with tons of different techniques and on December 21 the Professor Dungeon Master will release a video on his channel all about Krampus using this build as an encounter! Check out the video link above.
The Wheel of Time really has inspired me to create a new building for my medieval village. I use some new techniques that I was happy with and will stick with me down the road. Let me know what you think. This build is made mostly from dollar store foam core.
Back on my Wheel of Time kick, I made the Waygate from episode 7. This was an easy build. I picked up some acrylic sheets and painted a portal on one that slides between the two uprights of the Waygate for a cool portal effect.
With all the frost and snow outside I thought I’d make a frigid Runestone that “magically” lights up when a miniature is placed next to it! I have a bunch of cool effects in this video such as the ice, the glowing runes, the etched runes made from clay, and even the paint choices I chose for the craft. I’m happy with the final look of this one!
I created a merchant wagon inspired by the Way of the Leaf from The Wheel of Time. It’s actually the third and final (for now) craft I’m making from that series. I added an internal battery pack that turns on a glowing light on the inside of the wagon and a hanging lantern out front!
I created these catacomb tiles as part of a 3 part catacomb series. Made from foam, I added some 3D printed skeletons and resin to add some detail and color to the tiles. Check out the video for my new innovative grid system I’ve added to them as well!
These catacomb walls were packed with a ton of skeletons from TigerSkullRPG and coated in my own texture paste recipe. I’m very happy with the result. I have one more build after these walls in this series coming out soon to round out this awesome Catacomb adventure.
I made this custom mini from scratch. It must be one of my favorite minis I’ve ever made. It’s called the Crawling Grave. Watch the video to see how to make it yourself.
These pieces of scatter terrain are the final touches to my catacombs I’ve been working on the past month. I made sort of a skeleton spawner and some crucified remains. Both pieces can easily be used outside the catacomb setting as well.
This week I made this tower inspired by the ones seen around the city of Cintra from The Witcher. I know we all love that individual brick look. In my opinion it’s the best you can achieve over drawing them in with a pen or rolling the foam with a roller. I wanted that look but had to come up with a way to speed up this process. I devised a way to brick this entire build in just a few hours and still achieve the individual brick look with the help of Gerard from ShiftingLands! Check out the video to see how I made this happen!
I got this idea and ran with it…. A small building with a bunch of character. I made the house out of foam, and the petrified wood chimney out of clay. I packed it full of LED’s and even a smoke machine. Check out the full tutorial on the build, link above.
